This is an old building that has recently had all the units renovated. The cabinets and laminated wood floors are nice enough. However, the community amenities like the garage door and elevators constantly break and can’t be repaired for days or weeks at a time. Parts have to be special ordered. I was lucky to be on the third floor, but I feel bad for the people on the higher floors.
Both elevators were broken at different times, for over a month. The garage had a security guard one weekend and we had to use the entrance to get out on another weekend.
Anna and Noël are nice enough, but they’re not around on the weekends like other buildings I’ve been in. If you need help, there’s an «emergency» number that you probably could only call if something’s on fire and then 911 would be a better option,
Lastly, when you move out, don’t bother cleaning up. They’ll just get a professional cleaner no matter how hard you try. Get a professional cleaner yourself and just give them the receipt. Got charged $ 150 for a 650 sq ft apartment after it was cleaned.
Good place if you need a short term option on Cap Hill, but there are far better options elsewhere in the city.

There are not enough good things to say about the Somerset! We lived there for two years, and contemplated not buying a house because we loved the building and management so much. It was such an incredible experience and the best apartment building we lived in (and there were many). Anna and Noël, the managers, are amazing. Super friendly and warm, and will take care of things immediately. We occasionally needed light bulbs replaced, closet doors repaired, etc., and they were all taken care of the same day. They definitely care about the building and tenants and do a great job running the place.
The building itself is awesome. Almost all of the units are now remodeled, and have granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and have a great feel to them. There’s laundry on every floor and for the most part neighbors are friendly and courteous. The amenities are awesome — there’s a beautiful swimming pool and hot tub, and the rooftop deck cannot be beat. Amazing views! The location is pretty stellar too.

I moved in the month Pat and Bob left. Apparently they left a few months prior because since Noël and Anna took over the place has done a 180. The community here is awesome… Best rooftop views in Denver…

I recently relocated to Denver from Ohio and The Somerset meets or exceeds all of my needs for an urban apartment: great Capital Hill location, fitness ctr, indoor pool, garage parking, rooftop gathering place, wood burning fireplace, club room with pool table, etc. As a bonus, the couple managing the place, Pat & Bob, are the sweetest people you’ll ever meet.
