Food is good but service is terrible. Was there for almost 15 mins and no one came over to me. Wasn’t busy at all 1 person at the bar and another table and owners managers and bartenders and servers all walked by me like I wasn’t even there.

Top notch pizza. Great special. Really cool kids menu idea. They bring the pizza ingredients out and the kids get to spread the sauce and add all the topping and then they cook the«creation». Roomy and well air-conditioned. Nice place.

I meant to write this review last week when I ordered from here! I have a serious allergy to gluten! With that being said, I ordered a pasta dish that was gluten free as well as a few other dishes. When the order arrived(delivery) the whole order was messed up and I do have to say that they quickly sent out another order and corrected everything. When the order came I ate all of the food including the garlic bread that came with my gluten free pasta, I did not order the bread separately. After I ate I felt a little sick and the next day I had a horrible skin reaction that I only get when I eat gluten. I called the restaurant immediately and asked them if the bread served on my gluten free pasta was also gluten free… THEANSWERWASNO! they said you have to specifically ask for gluten free bread and it’s a $ 2 up charge. This is absolutely unacceptable and very dangerous for consumers. For this reason I will never dine in or order out from this restaurant.

I LOVE tony ps! I am a regular there for both the restaurant and the music venue at night since it all began. I always have the most fun ever! Everyone that works there has always made me feel SO welcomed! The employees truly bring the most positive and fun energy! BUT the manager Jacob is the WORST. He has met me multiple times and only gives me the RUDEST stares and the most unwelcomed feeling ever. Sometimes when I walk in I just want to walk out because of his negativity. Tony Ps is one of my favorite places to be but if Jacob is working I never want to be there. I’ve never been treated so rudely when I’m a valued customer. He is bringing what could be an excellent establishment, down to mediocre. I hate writing bad reviews but I COULDN’T hold my tongue anymore.

Very disappointing. I use to love this place. I would go once a week. I did want to give up on them but I have to say«Don’t waste your time.» Service and food quality have went down hill. Bar Dough and The Well are great alternatives.

I know I gave this place five stars in the past, but that was when I had only been to Tony P’s a couple of times. I have since learned that Tony P’s is a major hit or miss in the quality of both food and service. Unfortunately, it has been too many misses lately for me to plan on returning. My favorite plate from Tony P’s is the Italian chopped salad and when you eat in-house they pile on the meat and cheese so high that it is a meal within itself. My last few visits have been placed to-go because the dining service can be atrocious at times(getting orders wrong, not refilling water glasses, etc.). Unfortunately, I have noticed that they are far less generous with the meat and cheese when ordering the chopped salad to-go. Though it is a significant difference, I have settled with the smaller to-go portions in the past because it was still good enough. However tonight what I received was totally unacceptable. The salad was 90% lettuce and only a couple bites worth of meat, cheese or olives. This salad has lasted me two meals in the past and tonight I find myself still starving after eating the whole thing. I paid over $ 10 for a bowl of iceberg lettuce why, exactly? My boyfriend picked the order up; if had I seen the salad before he brought it home I would have demanded a refund on the spot. Sorry Tony P’s, I’ve eaten with you over two dozen times but after this I really don’t feel like giving you another chance. Your food and service is far too inconsistent for me to feel good about spending my money here or feel confident that I will get a satisfying meal. Do yourself a favor and go to Pizza Alley on 32nd and Lowell instead. They have bigger portions and lower prices than Tony P’s and provide consistently great customer service.

The Highlands has a wide variety of excellent dining choices: Tony P’s has quickly become a staple for us. They have a fantastic menu with a wide array of Italian cuisine, to include a large amount of dietary restriction accommodations(whole wheat, GF, etc.), plus they’re open late! A particular favorite is the Chicken Pine Nut Pizza, extra crispy, with a glass or two of house white. Normally, we sit at the bar and let the bartender take care of us(they’re always smiling and quick with our drink orders) while we wait for some take out. Today, I had the particular pleasure of having Amber as my waitress. Her enthusiasm is just one of the many elements I’ve come to appreciate from the staff at Tony P’s. She was attentive and kind; I greatly enjoyed her service. Looking forward to returning soon!

Extensive gluten free menu, woohoo! GF ravioli stuffed with goat cheese, asparagus, and portobello mushrooms? I’ll take it. I don’t usually have options like this. GF pizza, fettucini, ravioli, even gnocchi. It’s so nice to have an array of things to choose from. The atmosphere is pretty classic pizzeria. Really casual, colorful posters all over the brick walls, comfortable patio, cheap pizza by the slice and beer. I’d say overall the prices are good, but the GF menu is definitely more expensive. The cheapest pasta dish is $ 15 and that’s just noodles and marinara. Service is okay but not stellar. A little inattentive, I’d say. I’ve ordered delivery before too and it took over an hour and a half to arrive. A little long when you’re given a 40 minute estimate.

They accommodated us for a large party of 20, so that alone deserves some stars. Pretty big menu with lots of options but they won me over with the dessert. I believe it was the Italian s’mores with nutella? So good. Super but messy but who really cares. Service was on and off but I wouldn’t hold that against them because it was a large party and people were trickling in. Definitely a chill place in a very very cute area.

This place was terrible. Get it off the block. We stopped in at 10PM on a Friday. The waitress was incompetent. Two slices of plain pizza took 20 minutes to come out and tasted like cardboard. Not sure what people see in this place. Will not be back. My friend said the piece of pizza offered tasted like it was 3 days old and microwaved. He had to chew it like a bloody piece of steak. This place is for the birds. Edit: someone from tony p’s wrote a snarky response. Will deff make sure to tell people not go.

Absolutely the WORST experience! I placed a delivery order… food arrived cold, messy and without the chicken(that I paid for) Delivery was over an hour! If this is what they call Pesto, they need to go back to cooking school!!! Bread sticks were hard(because they were cold)!!! I should’ve just burned $ 25 and it would have sustained me more than this horribly, awful, something I wouldn’t even feed my dog(or rodents for that matter) meal! Save your money(and time)! Never again

We have ordered from here a number of times but tonight we used their new App to order and were given a 1 hour delivery time. I called after it was 15 minutes late and was basically told that they couldn’t give me an ETA for delivery and that the app was terrible. I was also told that we couldn’t just come pick up the pizza ourselves because they seemed to not be willing or able to check and see where it was located. So the pizza finally arrived after 2 hours of waiting and it was not surprisingly cold and unappealing. Not sure if I’ll want to order from them again and we were doing orders on a regular basis.

So, I’m visiting from San Diego, Ca and had a hankering for some pizza when I stumbled upon Tony P’s. If and when I come back to Denver, I will absolutely be coming back or at least ordering from this pizza joint again. I ordered the Italian sandwich which honestly reminded me of how my mother made them when I was younger, absolutely delicious. I ordered through the online app as well and got a free 14″ Italian style cheese pizza that was delectable. Oh and before I forget, the delivery came with free breadsticks with a great marinara… 5 out of 5 stars for simplicity and perfection and delivery time was early than stated.

Its a good location with good ambience, service is pretty good so is the food and the prices. The parking situation isn’t great, sometimes there isn’t anything close but that’s just the neighborhood I guess. The only real criticism I have is they are very inconsistent with the baking of their pizzas; we’ve had very undercooked dough to burnt and everything in-between. A pizza place shouldn’t be so hit or miss on the pizza of all things

So sad. Ordered at 3PM for a 7PM delivery less than a mile away. Called twice for ETA after 7:20. Finally arrived 8:11PM stone cold. Tough night for Tony P’s. !!!UPDATE: received a call from the store with an unsolicited huge apology crediting our account and adding an incentive to try them again. Class Act. Thanks for reaching out and correcting the situation Tony P’s!!!

I guess 3.5 stars is good overall, but these days people want to see 4+ and I really don’t know why Tony P’s doesn’t have this. We’ve been to the Tony P’s on 17th but wanted to try out this location and we weren’t disappointed! Service to the table was a little slow at first, but hey, I’m a big boy. I walked up to the bar and ordered our drinks. The bartender noticed that we were at a table, got our drinks, and offered to transfer them to our table tab. Thank you! Before I got back from the bar, Matt was at our table querying my wife about our dinner & drink selections. We were a high maintenance couple with questions, coupons, and Unilocal check-in deals, but Matt took them all with stride and was very accommodating. We got our Limoncello martinis and schooners of PBR and were very pleased! For food, we ordered a pepperoni pizza and an order of Lasagna. The pizza was outstanding! It had that perfect chewy texture with just the right amount of char to make it seem like it was straight from a wood oven in Italy. I’m not sure where they get their pepperoni, but its flavor was amazing as well. The Lasagna was tasty too — just like mom used to make! I hope your visit to Tony P’s in the Highlands was enjoyable as ours was, bon appetit!

Not sure what happened last night. I was there for an hour and 45 min for dinner not by choice. New waitress blamed the cook staff, I’m sure the cooks would blame the waitress. After 30 min we finally got to order. Then another 45 min our food was finally brought out. My calzone, burned along the entire bottom. I would’ve said something but that would cause another 45 min wait. At least it was kids eat free night. Luckily I only had to say something to the manager to get the kids meals off. I’ve been there before and it was great. Last night must’ve just been a rough one for the place.

There is definitely a happy hour prices on Sundays. I ordered a sangria for $ 5 and it was the worst thing I’ve ever had. It tasted sour which led me to believe that the wine used for this was old. Gross. There was also only one server/bartender so you had to order at the bar which was kinda cute only because there were notes on the table that told you to do that. Our server was nice enough so no complaints there. The breadsticks were pretty good and event the pizza was awesome. We ordered a medium chicken pesto and a sausage pizza. The sausage one was recommended by our server so we had high hopes. It wasn’t what we expected but it wasn’t bad either. Just not our favorite. The place was pretty cold also so we couldn’t get really comfortable with the temperature. The neighborhood is pretty awesome though and it’s all street parking. This place supposedly turns into a music venue which I would totally be down to attend. However, I probably won’t be back to eat.

Food wise this place deserves a higher review. But the restaurant was very dirty so I had to give it a low rating. Let’s start with the positive. Being from the east coast their pizza hit all the right notes for a classic New York style pizza. I also loved that it was simple, no crazy combos with goat cheese and arugula you typically see at pizza shops in this neighborhood. Service was also pretty good and our waiter was friendly and comical. However, the restaurant was very dirty. One of my biggest pet peeves is a dusty ceiling and light fixtures. Tony P’s air ducts were covered in dust and they were right over us so it really grossed me out that dust was going to blow on my pizza. The mullions on the storefront windows were also incredibly dusty and there were cob webs on all the light fixtures in the dinning room. I glanced in the kitchen and it was even more horrifyingly dusty in there. Please clean your restaurant!

This used to be our neighborhood go-to, but the last few experiences have been horrible. Recently, we have had our last two orders delivered. Both took over 100 minutes to arrive. When they arrived, the orders were wrong. I’m lactose-intolerant and we had«NODAIRY — No cheese, no butter, etc.» on order note in all caps, but they still delivered my meal covered in butter and cheese. It was even very visible on the note taped to my meal when delivered. On top of that, the chicken has become incredibly dry, the stuffed shells are all sauce, and the pesto ziti barely had any pesto — it tasted like all butter. Unfortunately, we will not be eating Tony P’s anymore.

I’m updating my previous review. The manager was very kind and apologetic about the poor service I had previously experienced, and offered credit for future pizzas. Went there last Friday night(8÷28÷15) for a large snack and a drink late-ish in the night(10:30 at a guess). Great service, great food, perfect for the end of the night. Was busy but not packed, which was nice, though noise level has rarely been a problem for me at this venue. Really topped off the night and made it memorable– in the good way.

Pretty bad, unfortunately. We’ve been to Tony P’s three times, and each time we’ve left disappointed. I’d rate the food a 3. We’ve tried different pizzas and pasta, as well as the antipasto plate. With the exception of the antipasto plate, the food has been okay — it’s pretty standard local pizza. Thick and heavy, lots of grease, but you know what you’re getting into. The reason for the single star rating is because each time we’ve come — no matter if it’s early, late, busy or not, the service has been terrible. We’ve had 3 different servers, and we’ve had essentially the same issues every time. The initial«hey, welcome, can I get you something to drink?» has always been a long process. It’s awkward to sit in a restaurant as servers pass you by, hoping you’ll get a chance to at least ask for a water. The most recent time, this took more than 10 minutes just to have someone acknowledge us. On our most recent visit, once someone finally acknowledged us, we waited for another 20 minutes just to get our drinks. Again, we would have left after this amount of time but since we ordered drinks we felt bad walking out on that. By the time we had some thirst-quenching mechanism, we’d already been waiting, hungry, for about 30 minutes. Someone else dropped off our drinks and we waited almost another 30 minutes to have our sever drop by and sit next to us to take our order. Total time at Tony P’s: nearly an hour. By now it’s about 8 on a weekday night and it’s empty. We’re hungry. The food from there only took 15 – 20 minutes to be delivered to our table. No issues with the timing of getting the actual food, which is good. We asked for extra sauce on the side and more drinks, but both were forgotten. No worries, we’ve got something to eat, finally. We reminded the server and he promptly returned with both. Scarfed down our food and waited another 30+ minutes to get our check. Waited another 20 minutes for him to pick it up, but he never came. I walked to the carryout area to have the check cashed, but both of the people were on the phone. Stood around for a few minutes, and went back to sit down. At this point we’re talking about an hour after we’re done eating; nothing to do but sit and wait for someone to take our money. Total time at Tony P’s: over two hours. The previous two experiences were also very bad, but this was the worst. We live close by and want to like Tony P’s, but after 3 poor experiences I can safely give this place a 1 star review. Definitely try Cibo down the street — really good food, really good service, better prices. We’ve been there about 6 times already and we’re always happy.

Dang. I’m really bummed to be writing this review. You can see by my amount of «check ins» that I have come to Tony P’s a very regular amount. I do not know what has happened to this place in the last few months. The last 2 times we resulted in seating ourselves, as there was no host to give us a table. Servers lack big time in the customer service department. Some were too busy standing around laughing and I am being serious when I say this, 2 waitresses were smacking each other’s asses. I ordered the ravioli this evening, first time it was brought to the table it was pretty crunchy(way undercooked). I let our server know who offered to have it re made. The music was so loud in the restaurant he thought I said it was over cooked, so the re made ravioli came out even less cooked than the first batch, the inside was barely warm. At that point my dining partner was finished with his meal, an eggplant parm sandwich which was pretty tasty. I was not willing to wait around any longer for more undercooked pasta. So needless to say my meal was ruined, and I got to leave still hungry. We won’t be dining here again. Tony I hope you read this, it’s hard to see a place that was once my favorite neighborhood Italian restaurant go so down hill.

$ 3 for a slice of pizza with 3 toppings(ham, jalapeños, pineapple). Delicious. $ 3 for a tallboy. Not delicious, but thirst quenching. Excellent service from Trevor. Patio in the shade. Comfortable on a hot day. A place to lock our bikes. Wi-Fi. Absorbant paper napkins. And Trevor brought out more without us asking. The only negative is the crappy flatware. Bottom of the barrel in terms of quality.

The breadsticks are ridiculously delicious. The bread was soaked in butter, garlic, and Parmesan. We ordered two smalls(since we filled up on breadsticks) and decided one or two slices would be enough. The combo(supreme) had pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, green pepper, mozzarella, and marinara sauce. The prosciutto had olive oil, garlic, onion, basil, spinach, provolone, mozzarella, and of course, prosciutto. It had a delicious flavor… however the strong garlic was evident throughout the afternoon and I became self-conscious during conversations… Hubby ordered a local cucumber beer. I’m not a beer fan, however it WAS refreshing and distinctly cucumber. We sat outside underneath an awning with beautiful flowers. Great dinner companions, active road and sidewalk, beautiful day, and a waitress who probably wanted to be elsewhere.
