Fun free event. Many tuba players, some professional, some novices, young and old gathered at Skyline Park(17th& Arapahoe) to perform Christmas music together. One as young as Six! Super cute. Fun crowd joined in and sang along. Big crowd came out to enjoy the hour long performance. Many people enjoying the event with their dogs as well. Plenty of parking garages nearby made this a convenient location. This was the 39th year in Denver. Note to self… next year bring chairs, hot coffee and cocoa for the kids.

Honestly how could tuba christmas not be 5 stars! It’s over 200 «tubas» playing christmas carols! Musicians ages range from 6 to 90, from all over the country, some times the world! It’s really an amazing sound, the crowds are invited to sing along, and just enjoy the sounds! I love it, and definitely am sad if my travel plans for the holidays prevent me enjoying it each year!

Me myself, I have no musical talent, but I am able to enjoy those who do have that talent. Every year for the last 37 years Denver has taken part in the nationwide sensation known as the Tuba Christmas. Tuba Christmas is for me the event that really gets my holiday season started. A huge collection of tubists from all over Colorado and beyond perform an hour long concert of Christmas favorites in Skyline Park. Crowd participation in singing is encouraged. This event continues to grow every year and is a great event for the family, especially the kids.
