Went to this salon today with a friend for a gel mani and pedi. At first I was happy that they seated me right away and began my pedicure, but it was rushed through once they got busy. The heels of my feet were not soft at all after my 20 minute pedi. My friend waited an hour for a full set and two people who walked in after us were taken before her. At the end they charged $ 35 for her full set and $ 60 for my regular pedi and gel mani. Prices are too high for such low service. Will not be returning. There are better and less expensive salons elsewhere.

I would never recommend this salon. First off, I asked for white tip acrylics, the most traditional type of acrylics, but asked if they could not use a drill because its damaging to the nail plate. They agreed but then got the drill out anyway. I said no again and they finally put it away. I was passed between three different technicians over the course of my visit and at one point, when the third woman ran the drill over my skin(I had finally given up on refusing the drill once they got to cleaning up the actual acrylic) she told me to just watch the movie that was playing, no apology whatsoever. Then when it came time to pay, she cited me for forty dollars despite the sign on the wall saying that a full set of acrylics was 30 with a credit card. She told me that mine was forty because she used white tips and finished off the acrylics with a gel sealant. I have never had another salon charge for this because that should be included in how acrylics are processed. Also my nails are uneven, the acrylics are not the same length, which is both annoying and looks bad. I will never go here again. Incredibly suspect establishment, save your nails and money and go to one that is upfront about its costs and doesn’t have hidden fees, as well as an inability to listen.

These ladies run a clean place and do good work. My last pedi was a little on the rough side but I think my cuticles were too! Rough as it was, it turned out great. They offer a pretty significant cash discount(Shellac pedi was $ 40 cash and $ 47 card) so go to the Chase next door or plan ahead to bring $$. The parking is tricky. Got there at 10am Saturday and the lot was already full since its shared with other business, but there was street parking. Weekend afternoons parking will be bad. But if you can bring cash, park easily, and get there’s no long wait, you’ll enjoy it!

How have I not gone here before? It’s tucked away in the Subway/Jason’s Thai parking lot. I was a walk-in, they were friendly and did a great job! I was only offered a gel mani or shellac. I didn’t really know the difference and told her that so she gave me gel. HA! It turned out great. Took about an hour. I will definitely go back.

I have been coming here to get my nails done for about 6 months, I have not been disappointed in my service once. Quick, great quality, and friendly staff! Not to mention inexpensive as well.

I get mani/pedis here on a regular basis. The women who work here are great! They’re super friendly, and I’m always satisfied with their work. If you’re not happy, they’ll correct it free of charge. The salon is always clean and sanitary from what I’ve seen. They play new/good movies, and the Broncos game was on today, so I guess they have cable too. The magazine collection is also good. One time I saw a couple getting a pedicure together and they had brought a bottle of wine with them — it was cute and it seems like Uni Nails was accommodating. Pricing is fair & I like that they give you free bottle of water. Cons: 1. If you walk in and it looks like they’re super busy, turn away(unless you have extra time on your hands). They’ll tell you it will only be 5 – 10 mins, but that’s rarely true. 2. The quality of service depends on how busy they are at the time. 3. They don’t have a student discount anymore. Disappointing in my opinion, but there’s now a discount for paying in cash. 4. Parking.

This place is awesome got a mani and pedi for 35 $. The service was excellent and staff was super friendly. They had a current movie in the background and the massage chairs were perfect. Some establishments the chairs hurt but these were great! I liked the color choices as well. My friend also get her upper lip waxed and it looked great! Highly recommend.

I absolutely love this place. Not only do they do a fabulous job, but the technicians are extremely nice! Their color selection is good and they are incredibly time efficient. The only drawback is that parking can be difficult. Pay cash and you get a discount!

Update to my last post… my husband’s infection persists after two rounds of heavy antibiotics. When he went into the salon to show them the infection they ignored him and refused to address the issue. The doctor cultured the infection, it’s a form of strep and is without question from poorly sterilized instruments. If the latest dose of antibiotics don’t work they’ll have to surgically remove the infected skin.

This is an update on my review from 9⁄2013 here. Quality was so bad in my last visit I am going to find another nail place even though I’ve been going to this one for 2 years. It was not busy when I came but still took 2 hrs for a mani/pedi, mostly because they left me sitting in the pedi chair before they started until the water was cold. The gal cut the side of my big toenail way too close. It has gotten more painful and today my toe is bright red and hurts more. I’m worried it may be getting infected! My manicure polish was not applied evenly. Since I was running out of time I was only able to sit with my nails drying for about 7 minutes which is enough for high quality polish. This is not high quality polish though and when I reached into my purse to pay it smudged really bad. They would not honor my student discount or this little business card thing they once gave me that gave me a few dollars off. I wasn’t going to make a big deal about it though. I paid, I tipped cash and left with my hurt toe and embarrassing mani. Customer service was very cold the whole time.

My nails turned out thick and uneven. You could still see my actual white tip below the acrylic ones. Some of my actual nail was still exposed on the edges. They don’t sand some of the acrylic down and make them thinner and even. My mother’s tech glued her nails on crooked and another tech had to take them off and start all over. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. Not worth the $ 50!

Cute little nail salon, very clean. Extremely nice staff. Gel manicure was only $ 25 and she did three coats. Will def come back in the future. Would recommend to others!

I was in the salon for an hour and a half for just a pedi(with appointment.) I sat in the chair while my nails dried for an entire hour without anyone checking on me before getting up and telling them I needed to leave. The woman paid no attention to me and it was like she forgot I was there after she finished my nails. It’s a shame because the other employees seemed nice and friendly and treated their own customers well.

Not impressed at all! Shocked by all the rave reviews! Our experience: made appointment, services started 30 minutes late– no apologies, nothing. No English was spoken except for payment. They chattered amongst themselves and seemed angry we were there. They did NOT honor their Unilocal coupon you get when checking in. They did give us water, and there were lots of good colors. Did not feel sanitary, pedicurist was lazy and did not take time on exfoliation of my feet, plus, she cut me! Pray no fungus or infection. UV manicure– day 2 — color has worn off tips of nails. $ 48 mani pedi. You decide, but I likely wont be back!

Really good work here. I had a meeting nearby and then was hopping on a plane for a wedding. I called and asked to be the first one in the next day. No problem! They were a little late to open the shop but they got me going really fast. I told them when I had to be out and they got me out on time. They do upsell you… I probably didn’t need to pay for all of what I was paying for but it was a nice pampering. Here’s the biggest thing… the mani lasted longer than any other mani I’ve had. Even my husband noticed and recommended that I go back to them(a bit far for me for a regular thing). It lasted impressively long for a non-shellac mani. All in all, clean and quality work.

Awesome little nail salon. The staff is super friendly and the pedicures last for ages. I love the french manicures as well. For the service, the price is great. Haven’t found a place in Denver that I like more.

Great manicure and pedicure! The staff is incredibly friendly and does great work. My sister and I thought that the nail salon was exceptionally clean and enjoyed watching a movie on the large TV they had while we were being pampered. I’ve tried a few places around Denver and the Front Range and have to say this is so far my favorite! Will be back for sure!

Pretty awesome pedicure. Very papmpering with the massage chair and sugar scrub included. As well as pots of hot towels. The manicure felt like little butterflies. Chick flicks on the tele. Lots of current magazines. Very sanitary… took tools out of autoclave and put them back after each use. All for 35 buckaroos. Better than the more expensive mani pedis I’ve gotten here in Denver. It made me feel like I was back in my home town of LA.
