I went in on Friday at about 10am or so, and I had to wait about 15 minutes or so. Slightly surprising, but I realized that this must be because they’re good. I ended up getting Vince, who did a great job, and quickly. Cheap too, I paid 15 bucks plus tip. I told him to give me a ‘business cut, pretty short’, and he did it perfectly. At one point, I said to him: «You know this place is old-school when there are ashtrays in the arms of the chairs», and he just laughed. No smoking in there obviously(the ashtrays were perfectly clean, like an old plane), but it really reminded me of when I was a little boy and my dad regularly took me to the neighborhood barber shop with a ‘No Bullshit’ sign on the wall. There were animal heads mounted on the wall with baseball caps on, and there was a spittoon in the corner. I honestly wonder if some of the old timers actually put it to use. One thing to note is that they do not take credit/debit cards. When I told Vince I don’t have any cash, he just told me to run to the bank and come back. This level of trust pleasantly surprised me, I was half-expecting to be asked to leave something in collateral. So old-school, I love it. Looks like I have a new place to cut my hair, delightfully free of fruity conditioner bottles all over the place on glass shelves.

Went 2 times this year. Not overpriced, and they speak barber. I told them what I wanted and got 2 awesome haircuts. I just walked in, asked for what I wanted. It may not be the pertiest place, but they know how to cut hair!!!

4 stars because it is quick, cheap and an experience! This is the cliché of barber shops. Sports posters on the wall, magazine rack that’s over flowing and a few f bombs while you’re getting cut. It also has old green plaid carpet. Yes, you read that right, carpet in a hair cutting establishment! I like the old school wood paneling too. Ok, enough about the décor, can they cut hair? Well, I was a little nervous to go here because it’s unusual for a woman to get her hair cut at a barber shop. I did feel a bit out of place but the barber was friendly, quick and did a good job. $ 15 for a haircut that’s consistent and quick is a true bargain!

Art is great! Gave a classic barber haircut, finished with after shave& a cool looking old school neck & back massager. Definitely going back.

$ 15 haircut, plus tip. It’s a friendly place and has a real barbershop feel to it. He spent the time to give my haircut a good blend — always key. Well worth trying out.

Cool atmosphere, nice guys, good price for all the services, but I’m missing a sizable chunk of hair just above my neckline. Hard to go back after that.

I had such a great experience here during my lunch hour. I’d been needing to get a haircut and beard trim and have been on the lookout for a new place for a couple of months. This place happens to be right next to work. I saw Mike for a haircut and beard trim and he did such a great job. It was busy, but it seems like everyone has their«go-to» person, so I only had to wait for about 10 minutes to see Mike. I’m not sure whether he gave me a deal because it was my first time or not, but everything only costed me $ 14. My old barber would have charged me $ 20 and Floyd’s would have been $ 25 or so. The only drawback of the venue is that it’s got old carpet coated in hair in it and I think carpet in barbershops is kinda gross anyway. If it weren’t for the carpet, it’d totally be a 5* review.

I love this place. Literally, I have been going there over 35 years, since I was a kid. I don’t have nearly as much hair as I did then, but the barbers here still spend the time to give me a great haircut. Haircut, massage, brush down, neck shave — this is how a haircut should be. $ 14 before tip — a bargain at twice the price. This is old school barbering — go here if you’re looking for a good haircut.

Vince is the go to guy. Easily the best in his field. Be prepared to wait an hour because he always has a line. Well worth the wait
