In the Navajo Street Arts District, with ample free parking, 3 other arts co-ops, Bug Theatre, and Patsy’s Italian Restaurant on the same block! This a great small artist cooperative with individual shows in the front gallery — great openings and first friday celebrations — and a gallery of affordable members work in the back half of the gallery. Established Denver artists and experimental work in many media, as well as functional ceramics, jewelry, and small tokens of creative endeavor to enrich your lives and help support artists!

Cool place! Love the back room! This gallery features fantastic local artists. The items range from quirky, to incredibly beautiful fine art, $ 3.00 and up. There are four galleries on the same corner block– 38th& Navajo, so lots of artwork to check out. There is also a jewelry store that holds classes, the Bug Theatre,(very fun) and Patsy’s Italian Restaurant(one of the best and oldest in Denver). Definitely worth checking out.

I like spending my money here. It’s really accessible art, and it’s close to my house! What can be better? It’s a cute little place, with a couple rooms. I definitely like the back room better, it’s totally packed with all kinds of art, and it’s really not overpriced. I actually have to go back to pick up a companion piece for one I bought a while ago. This place and the other across the street have some nice pieces. Check them both out on any Friday night.

I like it. It’s better than a lot of stuff I’ve seen on Santa Fe’s art walk and it has some great prices. I bought something for $ 15 from a local artist(instead of a $ 3 pin that was so rad I might go back to get it…) and they had other stuff for $ 25, $ 45, $ 75… and then of course it goes up from there $$$. They said they have art openings *every* Friday night(not just first Friday) as well as a group of other galleries, Bug Theater and Patsy’s Italian dining. This neighborhood group claims they are Denver’s Original Bohemia and has a website . I am looking forward to checking out their Friday night openings soon based on this gallery.

Zip’s sign sucks. It totally makes me think that the place is run by amateurs. But it is surprisingly nice inside. Apparently, they just have a dumb sign. The front room is designated for a solo show and depending on when you go, and who is showing that area could be awesome and just your style… or will leave you asking why some people think they are artists when they definitely aren’t. Like Edge gallery, the back is the place to be. The little area is absolutely FILLED with great small works of art. Everything is well priced and perfect for gifts. You will find hand made cards, small paintings and sculpture that is endearing, spunky and likely to make you happy when you see it sitting on a shelf. These people obviously have a sense of humor and don’t take themselves too seriously. Thank God, artists can be totally intense.
