Elegant Nails

Went in today for a gel mani and normal pedi and it was excellent! Nice people and the pedi was so relaxing! It was a little pricey at $ 51 but I would come back here and treat myself again!

I took a different route home and wasn’t near my normal nail salon, so I decided to stop here on a Friday evening.
I walked in and saw that it was pretty busy, so I asked how long the wait would be, and was told «15 minutes». So I sat down and looked at the gel colors. I waited, and waited, and waited… until 40 minutes after I had arrived, someone took me!!!
This is beyond frustrating to me! Don’t LIE to get someone to stay, that is only going to piss me off more! I would rather them tell me the truth, and then I could make the decision on my own if it was feasible for me to stay.
Other than that, the man who did my nails was nice and told me to make an appointment when I want to come back.
…I just don’t know if I will be back after that frustrating fiasco!

I love Elegant Nails. It’s a family business with 3 technicians. I love walking in there and everyone knows your name. If you’re a regular you can ask for your own box set of nail files and buffers… etc. I get the pink and white done by Ken and I have gotten countless compliments. They use a different shade of pink from most of the other nail places and they just very natural and pretty. It can get busy so if you’re on a time crunch it is best to make an appointment. There’s a huge flat screen TV, comfortable massage chairs for pedicures, and the bathroom is always clean. I would avoid it during weekday lunch time because of the new Italian restaurant that opened up right next door — it makes parking difficult to find in an already small parking lot. I would also highly recommend making an appointment ahead of time since they are typically pretty busy during lunch hours.
