Going in this place is like going to a day care center, idiot young people who rip your $ off the bar, then take your seat when in a restroom break, this place is cheap but not worth the hassle

A brief review based on a couple of visits. To clarify, this is not the Rafferty’s located on Harlem Road in Cheektowaga. This is the former Ellicott Manor in Depew right off Walden. It has re-​opened under new ownership and is now the second location of Rafferty’s.
First of all, you can get a bucket of 3 bottles of domestic beer for $ 5. Any time. Let me repeat that. 3 bottles of beer for $ 5. One more time. 3 beers for $ 5, always available. Let that sink in.
Now on to the chicken wings. They serve 50 cent wings at all times and they are really, really good. They do have a small amount of breading, which I normally avoid, but it is just a minimal amount which keeps the wings quite plump and juicy. The hot wings are just what they say. Hot, but not burning a hole in your stomach hot. And not «meh» hot wings that really should be labeled medium.
I have not had any food other than the wings, but I plan to try something else there and update the review. But the fact that I could get 3 beers and an order of wings — good wings — for around $ 11 including tax, to me that’s a wonderful thing.
