Afternoon with the boys. Decided to go to the Deptford location. Have not been happy with another area chuck e cheese. This locale was very busy. Crowded but not too bad. My oldest son worked the room playing arcade games. My youngest went on a few kiddie rights that were appropriate for his age. He loved it. Got a few food items and they were all good. We enjoyed ourselves.

Hairy boneless wings I spent around $ 68.00. I ordered the large pizza and boneless wings. The store was very busy. It took a while for our order to arrive. I ate 1 boneless wing and noticed a piece of human hair on one of the wings. I notified the waitress. She replaced the order with a fresh dish minus one boneless wing. We frequent here with the kids at least twice a month. We called the floor manager. He was not apologetic. It’s hard to believe that we did not receive a refund for the time and inconvenience. I’m not sure if I will visit this location again.

Everything was as expected. I had no problem with the staff, everyone was very friendly and helpful. I have nothing to compare for better or run down Chuck E. Cheese locations, but this one was OK. I will take my son back again one day someday.

Adding a star back since learning that NJ law, not this particular Chuck E. Cheese limits how many tickets they can award. This Chuck E. Cheese was clean. They were friendly. The attendant wasn’t strict on what my kids could get with their tickets. So while Chuck E. Cheese itself is not really a 5-star establishment, this particular Chuck E. Cheese gets 5 stars for doing what they do well.

Maybe we just were lucky, because we had a perfect time. The food was decent, the place was clean, the staff efficient and friendly. Yes, it is a bit tight inside, but what do you expect with all they offer in a limited space. Had a great time for my granddaughter’s birthday. I wish the thermostat was not corporate controlled thoug

(Disclaimer: Mike T’s review is a lot funnier. Go read that instead) Why oh why did I take my kids here? There are so many better places to go. Chuck e Cheese, on a busy day, is a tightly packed exhibit of barely controlled chaos. The entire scene is a powder keg just waiting for a spark. Maybe that spark will be a snatched strip of tickets, maybe it will be a child who cuts in line or maybe a parent who has had a bit too much to drink. Do a quick google search for«Chuck e Cheese Brawl» and see what kind of time your kid could have here! Now, to be fair, we did not encounter such a mêlée during our visit. However we saw plenty of avoidable factors that could be what contributes to this apparent trend. 1. Everything is spaced too close together. The tables are squeezed closely together, as are the games. There is not enough room to park a stroller without risking it being looted or bowled over by rowdy unsupervised 10 year olds. Kids will run into each other, adults will trip over toddlers, and overall it’s a crowded mess. 2. There are no clear lines. Because of the way the games are laid out, it is very unclear who is waiting in line and who is watching. You’d think common courtesy and communication would be a simple solution, right? That’s funny. Kids already outnumber parents more than 5 to 1, and most of the parents are sitting at their tables anyway. It’s Lord of the Flies in there, and if your kid has any manners at all they probably won’t get a turn at any of the games. 3. There is little to no employee interaction. Aside from the ticket taker at the prize counter, and the«security» who looked young enough to be a customer, we never interacted with a single employee. This means that kids are just left to their own devices; give them a pocketful of tokens and release them into the wild. The parents are the only controlling factor here, and they aren’t much help. This wouldn’t be a problem if there was anything to do, or more room for them to actually PLAY like children. 4. There is nothing to do if you aren’t hemorrhaging tokens. Gone are the days of ball pits and playgrounds; they have replaced them with a single tube maze hanging precariously from the ceiling. This will only be fun for so long, and then they’re back to games again. The result is that if your kid isn’t spending money, he/she isn’t having fun. Individually none of those complaints are total dealbreakers. But altogether, you’ve got plenty of factors that build the tension and misery that I previously mentioned. It’s not a fun envirnoment at all; in fact it was really uncomfortable and we couldn’t wait to leave. Even our playful 3 year old wasn’t upset when we told her it was time to go. See the rest of my «For the kids» list for a few MUCH better places to take your children!

Ghettofantabulous! Garbage on the floors, decaying vegetables at the salad bar, sticky floor in front of the soda machines and total anarchy in the smaller kids area. No one regulates their kids, and there are no employees except for the doors and the cash register. There were like five 13 year old boys diving through the climbing structure above us, as well as a lady that had to be about 5 months pregnant. Meanwhile, our 3 year-old is just trying to make it through this hamster trail of death without a concussion. The place smells like dirty feet and ash trays. Every single game that gives out tickets will only give out 4 tickets. Even«jackpot» games are 4 tickets. That’s it. So that’s fine if we are trying to teach kids that everyone is a winner or whatever, but then on the back end of this lesson, this place needs to work out the economy of the ticket redemption. Let’s do the math… if a five-cent plastic bracelet costs 75 tickets, and you can only get 4 tickets per token, a parent is spending nearly FIVEDOLLARS for some made in China junk. And they have the nerve to display prizes that are 10,000 tickets? Who on Earth would spend $ 625 in this dump just to get a ten dollar stuffed animal? And then you get to wait in a line of screaming kids until the person taking food orders at the register can come help. My son, who normally gets excited over cheap toys, actually left crying because he thought he worked hard to collect tickets, and only left with a roll of SMARTIES candies. The pizza is usually okay, but our last trip tasted as though it was reheated. Perhaps this location is just run down, because it felt like an unsafe, dirty tavern… minus the alcohol.

Okay, I don’t come here to eat but I will report that the salad bar looked fresh, clean and well kept. Fun place for the kids to play. We just bought tokens. I used a coupon scan from my phone and saved $

Place is a joke. They claim to have toddler areas. Yea right. Nothing for our 2 year old to do there. The older kids make it a hazard as they shove and push little kids. Place is ghetto and the people were ghetto. Better off just going to the arcade at the mall it’s the same thing and it’s not crazy crowded with brat kids being violent. I will never go to a chuck e cheese again. That’s my first and last time.

I know the games are fun for the kids, but does the pizza have to be do atrocious? This is South Jersey! The pies can only represent the most minimal expression of a pizza, and on a good day it is flavorless. On a bad day, inedible.

The kids had a great time. Pizza was good. I was a little upset that all the games only give 4 tickets. no matter how well you play, you get 4 tickets. It’s hard to win prizes that way.
