The woman who did my hair was very kind, engaging, and sweet… but I’m not really happy with my cut or the style, though the stylist did listen to me and tried hard. The reason I’m writing a review for this salon us because it was a nice experience, albeit an expensive one.
The salon itself is very clean and everyone from the receptionist to the stylists is friendly. In addition, I was given a gift bag of samples for being a new customer, which was an unexpected surprise.
A not-​so-​pleasant surprise was the cost. I went in believing it’d be $ 10 cheaper. $ 42 (not including tip) for what turned out to be a simple trim and diffuser blow dry? Too steep for a repeat.

Your went and had my hair cut in Derby, I took along a photo of what I wanted. During and after I kept on saying this does not look like the photo, and she said what part does not look like the photo and I said all, she wanted to know what she should do ??? I was charged $ 50 I could of got this kind of hair cut at great clips. review helps others learn about great local businesses.

I love that I don’t have to leave Derby for lots of things. And getting primped is one of them! EFS in Derby is a nice modern/​chic place. The staff is great with alot of personality. I love the on-​line appointment system! Granted they are a little pricey and sometimes it’s hard to get an appointment, but that is what keeps them in business.
Mariah and Jenn are hilarious! Both are talented stylists that give me a good reason to come back.
Johnny has worked on my hair once and is fabulous!
