I want to buy an older car and live in Chicago, but the car is in Derry, NH. I called Autoshop Services and asked them to go over and take a look at the car before I trekked to NH myself. They went over and gave the car(which was at another location) an inspection and reported back to me what the issues were and could be. I was very impressed with how timely they were and gave it to me like it is. If I lived in Derry I most certainly would use them again. Good job Peter and crew!

I needed to get my transmission flushed, as I had just turned 80,000 miles and found this business online. The reviews were great, honest mechanic for reasonable price. Open 7 days/week was key for me. My old mechanic was only open M-F, and that’s when I work. I stopped over here on a Saturday, got fast, prompt service and he explained that Honda’s don’t get flushed, they get drained and filled and explained why. Very informative every step of the way, didn’t treat me like a stupid female. Definitely going back and recommended this business to everyone I spoke to. Thanks for great service and a decent price, almost half as much as some other local auto service repair shops. I’ll be back!

My vehicle really needed brakes and the place I had been using for sometime did not have time for me until the end of the week. I was nervous to drive around for the week and I had a trip planned for the weekend; so I looked online and saw a couple of good reviews on the is place and I knew it had been there for a long time so I took a chance and called them. They took me in same day and diagnosed my car to need calipers as well a full brakes in the back. I was out of there at 3 with the job complete and the price was fair. I checked with a couple other places for an estimate on what I had done and I believe I have found myself a new service station!

Note: This is a review for the service center at Auto Shop Services. I don’t have any experience with the attached/related used car shop. We moved to Derry a few years ago and managed to find a few smaller auto repair centers that weren’t for us — most notably those with insane markup on parts and shop managers that seemed a bit shady. A friend referred me to Pete at Auto Shop Services — we’ve since been going there for the past five years. His shop rate is reasonable, he is more than willing to work with customers to find the parts that fit their needs and budget. On more than one occasion he has told me or my wife that you«could» go with a more expensive repair option or part but that either some repairs or parts are not needed or could be done a lot more affordably with alternate, quality parts. He’s been great with us in offering to do some homework on part prices and quality and come back to us with his recommendation. Pete somehow always manages to fit us into his schedule — often at fairly short notice. The shop is always very busy and Pete is like an orchestra conductor managing the front of the shop and hands on supervising/doing the work. His group of guys really know their stuff and seem to make a point to remember you and their work(one of his crew asks me about some work he did for us 3 years ago — just to make sure things are still ship-shape.) I’ve referred several family members and friends to Pete — they all come back to me with glowing reviews. He’s a good egg, a straight shooter and will continue to get our all of our business.
