There are not a lot of things you can complain about when it comes to a dollar store… I usually go here when my husband wants to pick up some candy to sneak into the movie theater. A lot of the nail polish colors I get compliments on are the ones I’ve found here(I think you just have to be there at the right time). Also, I’ve picked up about 5 good books from this place. $ 1 a book. I can’t not.

Great place to get things for a dollar. You can get a lot here for one dollar or less.

A trip to the Dollar Tree is like going on a treasure hunt… a lot of it is crap but it is fun trying to find the good stuff that is actually worth way more than a dollar. Recently they had those solar flowers that dance around from sunlight for example… aren’t those worth more than a buck? I have no idea, but it seems like a good value there. They have useful stuff too: Poptarts, animal crackers, discontinued food items from Brand names you would recognize, bleach which is at least 1.60 at Walmart, discontinued brand name haircare and makeup, closet organizers, a toy aisle, lots of school supply and arts and crafts stuff, garbage bags that actually hold up, cleaning supplies like dish scrubbers, infommercial imitations, outdoor toys, sandwich bags, etc etc etc. I love getting to the register with an overflowing basket and finding out the total is only 14.00…I don’t think I have ever felt like it was a waste of time going in-quite the opposite. It is a great supplement to a trip to Hannaford’s. I do avoid the made in China-distributed by Chesapeake Bay, VA food items or anything that touches food, because I have heard of dangerous items sneaking through to these dollar stores like toothpaste with a toxic chemical in it. It is one of those places where you need to take your time and really look at each shelf-if you breeze through you may not notice the bargains.

I never considered buying a pregnancy test at a dollar store before, but other than that I agree with the other previous reviewers. This store is a prime location for me because it is in spitting range from the Flagship Cinema. Not that I bring food in, *wink wink*, but it’s a VERY good location. They seem to carry a little bit of everything, so it makes for good shopping if you need some random stuff, for gift bags, or you other dollar spending needs. They are currently having a dollar charity thing going on for soldiers’ children’s back to school needs.(also you can win a thousand bucks by entering online, just imagine how many things you could buy at the dollar store for that!)

Damn! I the other review already says exactly what I was going to say… I agree that there are plenty of things here that are actually worth less than a dollar. They tend to be the most sparkly, colorful, fun things in the store so be careful if you are easily distracted from the bargains, like me. The only other thing I can add is that they always have an ample supply of pregnancy tests(which have always been accurate in my experience). So you know… if you need that sort of thing, it is here.

These Dollar Tree’s are great stores. All new, bright, and full of useful crap. I get tonz of stuff here for home and work. Plastic containers, kitchen utensils, bungee cords, sting and twine, moth balls, cleaning products, and CANDY like Lemonheads! I have noticed that many things here are worth like under a $ 1 and some are worth slightly more than a $ 1. However, It all comes out in the wash.
