Nice atmosphere & reasonable prices. However, I think it’s crappy that you can’t leave a tip on your card. It’s inconvenient for the customer (many ppl rarely carry cash anymore).

I went in for the first time and had an appointment with Amber. She was very knowledgeable, had good ideas and was friendly. She did an amazing job with my hair and I am looking forward to returning for my next apt.

Finally I found a stylist that would give me highlights!!! I love them. Great experience. I felt pampered. You sit in massager chairs during hair wash and they massage your scalp as well. Loved that! Will definitely return. Oh and their website has a $ 20 off coupon for new guests.

Several years ago, I was making frequent trips down to NH from VT to take care of some ill family members. It was super stressful. It also made me feel incredibly old and hyper-​aware of my gray hair. I decided a lot of my «issues» could be resolved by scheduling a hair appointment when I was down in NH — a few hours to forget about the stress and erase the grays couldn’t hurt.
A friend had highly recommended Firefly and I scheduled an appointment with Heidi. It was a great experience and many people, including some less-​than-​observant men in my life, declared it «the best haircut [they’ve] ever seen [me] with.» Success!
I had a few appointments with Heidi and, one day when she was booked, had one with Kristie. Also super successful.
The family-​related trips eventually subsided. I eventually moved to North Carolina. I started trying out salons that weren’t 15 hours from home.
In August of 2014 I had a hair salon experience locally that was pretty awful (super dry and brittle hair, hair loss, etc.). I was scared off of having my hair touched for several months, but when I was ready to give it another shot, Firefly was the obvious choice when I was headed up to NH to see family. Heidi and Kristie were booked and I ended up seeing Amber. This was a happy accident as I had an appointment scheduled with someone else, but ended up showing up super early and Amber was available. She made me feel better about what I had felt was a hair disaster and got me all cleaned up. She also introduced me to an ammonia-​free color line which has made a huge difference in my scalp health — other dyes always made me pretty aware that what I was doing to myself with hair dye wasn’t a good thing.
This last trip Heidi, Kristie, and Amber were all booked, but at this point I just trust anyone at Firefly. Despite me being late Ruby was *great* with me. She really listened to me and even made my somewhat contradictory hopes work out. I wanted my hair to look fairly «natural» other than some bright peek-​a-​boo panels that I started in August. Then half-​way through I decided I wanted one bright streak up front without much commitment. She made it all work.
I left feeling like a beautiful mermaid. My grays are gone and my ombré is perfectly subtle. I have two purple extensions that I’m loving but also love the fact that they’re commitment-​free. I have gorgeous blue peek-​a-​boo panels. I can’t stop looking at myself in the mirror.
It’s not feasible to travel 1,000 miles every time I need my hair done, but I do travel to NH often. As long as I can, Firefly will be my salon of choice. I seriously can’t recommend it enough.

I spent 26 years only allowing a family member to cut my hair until I let Taylor Green work her magic on my locks. I’ll admit I was nervous for a girl who had never stepped foot in a real salon before but firefly was extremely welcoming and had an upbeat, professional feel as soon as I walked through the door.
Taylor is amazing at her craft, she listens to her clients ideas and makes them come to life. I also highly recommend her for keratin treatments during the summer months. If you need to overcome your fear of hair salons and want an awesome cut and perfect bangs, Firefly and Taylor are just what you need in your life.

Went to firefly for a consultation yesterday, it was recommended to me by a family member. The salon is very nice looking and modern, the staff seems very professional and well educated in their field. I booked an appointment for next Sat for highlights, we will see how it turns out especially since its going to be around$ 120 for a full foil. Very excited to see the results.

Best salon in NH. Fantastic haircuts. Happens to also be great deal. Recommended on all levels. I come all the way from Boston. Taylor is the best, but hard to get a time with!

I have been here 4 times now and always have gotten excellent service, I recommend this place to anyone. I’ve only had mens cuts here, being that I’m a man but the trims come with a nice scalp massage. Also, if you get a chance to set up an appointment I would recommend anyone there being that they are all spectacular but Taylor Green has always been the one to service me and she is excellent and has always done well by me.
