Damn these guys can make a good sandwich! I highly recommend the italian(deluxe, of course) with pickles, tomatoes, hot peppers, and oil and vinegar. Props to the lotta sub and a tasty reuben, but the star here is the cream of crab soup – they kick it up with some spice(Old Bay, I think) which gives it some style. Beware, though, they only make the soup on weekdays. If you’re lucky, they may still have some left on Saturday, but this seems to be much more rare as the word gets out. They also cook up some nice salads(potato, macaroni, etc.) and have what seem to be other nice sandwich offerings that I haven’t tried yet. Reasonable beer selection for such a small place – they always spice it up with some harder-to-find microbrews. Walked off with a Wild Goose mixed 12 pack the other day, which ended up being a nice mix of tasty brews from Frederick, of all places. Haven’t checked out the wines much, but they seem to have a reasonable selection. Staff is always nice and helpful. Great local place to pick up some lunch and a 6-pack!
