Love Dave. The world need more barbers and more barbers like Dave. Love the haircut (I’m picky) and enjoy talking shop (no pun intended) with Dave. CASH only… don’t forget to tip the guy! :)

Favorite barber to go to! Went to college in Des Moines and started going to Dave’s, now I live in a different state, but I plan a my returns to Des Moines to included a stop at Dave’s.

If you want a great barber shop experience, come see Dave. Very friendly guy who has been cutting hair in the area for 20+ years I think he said. Walk-​ins only. Closed Mondays. Currently 16 bucks for a great haircut. He only cuts mens hair that I know of. You will typically only have to wait for one person in front of you if you’re there on an average day. Takes about 15 mins/​cut. Highly recommend.

Great little neighborhood barber. Close to Drake and I would recommend it for those looking for a barber.
Dave is a nice guy and did a good job with my cut.
He doesn’t do shaves currently.

Dave is the best barber in town. If you are used to going to a barber then it is the place for you in DSM. He is a really nice guys and always gets to know all his customers. Cant go wrong and only 15 bucks!

Great little barber shop. 15 bucks, Cash only, no frills just great haircuts. American crew products. Easy to see that Dave is an experienced barber that really cares about his customers. I’ll be back in another 2 weeks.
