Deb Shops

The store is closed, the company has declared bankruptcy. My daughter received a gift card for her birthday, so I did some research online to see if she could still use it. Deb Stores online is plus size only, the juniors selection is under the name «Love Culture». Upon contacting the customer service at Love Culture, I was advised that we in fact could NOT use her gift card online (it was basically worthless) but they would give us 40% off of any regularly-​priced merchandise from
. When my daughter went on the site to pick out her items, NOTHING was regularly priced, everything had a discounted price and/​or was on sale. We assumed this was their pricing structure… making everything appear discounted… and she chose some items. After the order was made, LC refused to honor the 40% discount because none of the items were «regular price». After SEVERAL emails back and forth with the customer service department, asking for management to contact me, and reading many, many bad reviews online, the customer service rep that I was dealing with FINALLY agreed to honor the discount «as a one-​time courtesy». I am shocked by the poor customer service, including the poor spelling and grammar in the written correspondence from this «business». I will never shop their products again.
