Unfortunately, people, no matter where its at can B rude and inconsiderate and these types of people ruin the reputation of different places, companies etc. An apartment is definitely not like living in a home. I haven’t really looked but I would suspect that there are negative comments about all apartments. I have lived here for 3 years now and have been 90% please with everything. The maintenance people are friendly and Kim in the office is super nice and Karen appears to be one to take care of business. I try to put myself in other people’s shoes and that, for the most part, helps me to know how to respond to people. Kim and Karen actually came to my apartment to make sure that I was pleased with things which made me feel special. I would like to thank them and wish all the staff a very merry and blessed Christmas!

So. The guy before me left a spot on review. ZEROSTARS for Gray’s Lake Apartments. After living in numerous college houses I didn’t think I would mind yet another cheap option as a living space. Turns out, Gray’s Lake is by far worse than any other sketchy apartment complex I have lived in. TERRIBLE. There was confusion when we first moved in, with Gray’s Lake pushing our move in date back without telling us and causing us to end up in a different, more expensive apartment. There were numerous issues with the new apartment, and in the first few weeks we had to have the living room, kitchen, and one bedroom entirely rewired, as well as replace the dishwasher. There were also COCKROACHESEVERYWHERE. And they didn’t believe us. We were made to minutely describe the bugs, take pictures, and make multiple trips to the office until they agreed to have a bug guy come out. It then took 4 months to get rid of them. The worst was about a month before we moved out, and we were counting down the days. Meanwhile, the noise from the upstairs apartment ramped up crazily. Thin ceilings made it easier to hear everything anyway, but then there were three days in a row with blasting music, hammering, things being dragged and thrown around, and loud cursing conversations. The fourth morning I heard something like a buzz saw or a power sander, so we reasoned it was being renovated. To make sure, I went down to the office and asked, thinking I could at least inquire about getting the noise down to normal 9 – 5 hours and get rid of the hammering at 8:30 at night. They told me nothing was happening upstairs. The thumping and banging and cursing continued, but I lost all patience when our water shut off. Back at the office, this time I was told that there was work going on to get ready for the next tenants, contrary to what I was told earlier that same day. Obviously, I complained that I couldn’t get any work finished with the constant noise, to which the lady jumped down my throat because apparently working from home isn’t allowed here. No apology for the noise, no reassurance that she would check with the maintenance man. She contradicted my statement that he was working after hours until other tenants in the office backed me up. TL:DR AWFUL. Management argues with you instead of fixing the problem, and there are many many problems, including COCKROACHES and doors that don’t lock. Don’t put yourself through the misery.

Grays Lake … Timberland Point what ever this place is called its a nightmare. IF I COULDGIVETHISPLACE A ZEROSTAR I WOULD. Let me preface this by saying I have lived in over 10 complexes in my life, in 3 different far the worst place I have ever lived! If you dont mind noisy neighbors, walls you can litterelly hear a whisper through and floors that creak above you then this is the place for you. There was always dog shit all over the grassy areas. When the heat turns on in the winter it sounds like waves are rushing through your walls and if you expect cold ac, its warm. They switched owners and names during my time at this property. New owners and old owners did not do anything to improve the property. In the laundry area there was an emergency exit clearly marked with a padlock on it… I am sure this is a fire hazard. The other tenants are pretty trashy people and expect to be asked for money while walking to and from your car. If you like cops well guess what they were there almost every other day. I lived in the first building you come up to driving north on fleur. There were kids that seemed to have no parents or parents who didnt care what they did. To top it off all of my stuff smelled like the nasty hallways after moving out. Management does the bait and switch when you tour the property. You see a clean very nice and quiet unit. They told me I could not view my unit before moving in because someone was living there… clearly there was no one, just a lie they tell you, read other reviews on other sites they will tell you. They consistantly have people digging through the dumpsters every night and day. This place is a dump, I wish I could tell you everything that happened while living there, but Ill save it for someone else. If you see any other reviews they are 100 percent true. They have since taken down most of their reviews because I believe it hurt their business. They changed names to get away from their old reputation. You can change the name, but it is still the same old dump.
