KFC

The food is great, they get quite busy at dinner time. Martha busts booty to see that you get what you want and what you need, a nice full belly of fantastic food!!! The store is always clean and well kept restrooms! Drive thru is fast and convenient! Sometimes they run out of the brand of chicken you want but they can substitute or if u can wait you will have it shortly!!! I miss there desert buckets, maybe they will bring them back!!!

This is more a reflection of KFC in general than this location. I was shocked how small the chickens wings were. Clearly KFC is making the most of selling by the number of pieces rather than by the pound, I have lived in Iowa my entire life and I have never seen a chicken wing that small. I have no idea what bird they came from, but it clearly was not a chicken. Additionally, the wings were over breaded making it even harder to taste what little meat there was… and tasted like they’d been hours under a hot light even though it was only the beginning of the lunch hour. Save your money. KFC is more about promotion than the quality of the product they serve.

I’m not really a fan of KFC food and this place does not do anything special to make me change that. Their service and food is standard, nothing that stands out from others. Their chicken quality has gone down as a franchise, not just this location.
Their chicken is not juicy which makes me disappointed since they are supposed to be a chicken place.

I normally don’t come to KFC, but I had a taste for some today. I dined in. The food was great and fresh. The breasted chicken is very large at this location. I ordered the three piece meal that comes with one side and a biscuit. I got a grilled breast, and somehow an extra grilled breast, a grilled thigh and an extra crispy thigh. I opted for an additional side for an extra $ 1. My sides were macaroni and cheese and baked beans. The beans tasted good as well as the Mac and cheese. The biscuit was good as well.
Overall the service at this location was great. The staff were both friendly and patient as we looked over the menu.

We stopped by this KFC and placed our order through the drive-​thru. There was no line and service was fast. We had some coupons and used them when placing our order. The guy that rang us up asked us if the coupons were expired. We found it amusing that he asked us that. Why would we use expired coupons? We’re honest people!
We ordered original recipe and crispy recipe. Obviously the crispy recipe should have had more crunch than the original. However, when we ate the food, the original and crispy looked almost alike. The crispy was not very crunchy at all. Our sides included the mashed potatoes and cole slaw. I haven’t had KFC in a while, but I remember they giving us sporks to eat the potatoes. Instead, we got only a fork. Needless to say it was very difficult to eat mashed potatoes (on the watery side) with a fork.
The prices were actually pretty expensive to me. With the coupon, we were only allowed the option of mashed potato and cole slaw, no other sides were offered to us. The chicken was not very large in size and the meal did not come with a drink. We paid about $ 5 for each meal (with coupon). Even McDonald’s meals come with a drink!
Overall we enjoyed our meals but thought it could have been a little better.
