office depot and office max merged. their rewards program is a mess. you have to combine the accounts and change passwords. all i wanted to do was to login in and get my certificate printed. i was 23 minutes on the phone and two people deep in their india call center. read that o poor english skills. a simple question that is not detailed on their own web site. «what are the requirements for a password on the site» the call center had to look me up before simply answering the question and 23 minutes to get there. totally unacceptable. the in store inventory is declining also. look for major store closings soon to increase profitability. just say no to the merger with staples. a bad bad idea.

I am not impressed with this store. The first time I was here, at least one of their copy machines was broken. I came again today and they were out of MANY items. Some items were placed under the wrong price tags. They only had one large box of pens left, so I went and asked two employees if they had any more in stock. They seemed confused, «checked» via their walkie talkie, and finally said, «we moved everything around recently, so they’ll show up somewhere but we can’t locate them»… The last straw was as I was waiting in the checkout line, after the lady in front of me finished her purchase, the only cashier slowly walked away, started messing with some papers, and acted like I was invisible. The who-I-can-only-assume-to-be«manager» finally saw that I wasn’t being helped and rang me up. This store is already expensive compared to many other retailers who sell comparable stuff aka Target, Walmart, Kmart. etc. Can they really afford to be so disorganized and inattentive? :(
