Hopped into the Salvation Army on the hunt for treasures and recently found a bunch! Great furniture selection at this store, they have an amazing vintage couch right now in the window that caught my eye so I went in. The prices here are great and even though the store is a bit on the crazy side, it’s still very clean! I recently found a whole un opened pack of MINIDV’s for filming. This would usually run about 22 bucks new, and they were selling them for 4 bucks! So yes I found my treasure! Alway new stuff popping up and the staff here are very sweet and helpful! Stop in and start exploring today!

This is one of the largest thrift stores I have seen in the Des Moines area. This store has tons of stuff and is decently well organized for a thrift store. Prices were pretty cheap and there were plenty of things to buy, just make sure to give yourself plenty of time because there is a ton of stuff.

The FIND: a framed Montague Dawson printed entitled«Rising Wind» for $ 6.(see photo) My wife and I had been searching for a large piece to place above our fireplace. The piece needed to be large and tie in the colors of our blue and green vintage furniture. I saw this framed print in the back of the Salvation Army store and paused. I normally look right past the puke-inducing color schemed landscape prints that thrive in thrift stores. This print was perfect for our space and retails for $ 45 online. Take that American Pickers. The store has tinted windows which makes it appear closed from the outside. There was a huge amount of unopened new coffee makers. Did someone rob a Big Lots? Clean store with friendly employees.
