Food was mediocre. $ 53 for 3 meals and 3 teas. Avoid this place. Not even close to worth it.

Everyone loves to keep you happy, and will do there best to get you what you want! Also, a free beer with your meal on the weekend and all you can eat crablegs on sunday! Very clean and considerate staff! Not too pricey. Check it out! Can have a good sized group here too.

My wife and I have been here twice, both times were on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Sunday night the buffet is $ 14.99 since they offer crab legs and other assorted seafood(Crawfish, assorted shrimp items, Clams, Oysters, Squid and fish). The replenished the Crab legs about every 5 – 7 minutes. My wife and I learned quickly that you have to be quick when the Crab Legs come so as to fill your plate. You literally need to be waiting by the Crab Legs with tongs in hand or you will be left in the dust. Anyone who has tried to get crab legs at a buffet will know this all too well. One time an Asian lady cut right in front of me while I was waiting for the Crab Legs with tongs in hand mind you and she still took all of the Crab Legs!!! She didn’t even apologize or anything. I just stood the befuddled. After that incident I implemented a new strategy. All I can tell you is that it is all about the time you come into the restaurant and your seat placement in reference to the buffet. Your wife or dinner quest needs to be an active partner in you quest for endless Crab Legs. By my second visit here I was able to secure 4 large heaping plates with no problems at all. My wife stands on one side of the buffet and I stand on the opposite and we both have tongs at the ready to pounce. Once the cooked crab is placed on the buffet line we both go into crab extraction mode! We then leave with our bounty of Crab and eat the beautiful crab meat, We then repeat this process 3 to 4 more times with relative ease, all the while I fill my plate with tasty clams and assorted shrimp and crawfish. And the piece de la resistance… the Chinese made french fries were UNBELIEVABLYINCREDIBLE! Be good to your wait staff, that can assist you in retrieving a special item if you request it! Try it sometime,

We’ve been here many times. The service has always been fast and friendly. The food is pretty good and they usually have a good selection as well. Our daughter loves the chocolate fondue fountain they have and if you get lucky, they sometimes have Blue Bunny Drumsticks for desert as well.

I can’t eat anything on their buffet due to restricted diet. The owner came over and went thru what I DID want. I ended up with a great stir fry dish dish with lots of fresh and tasty vegetables and tofu in brown sauce. The service was very good and for a Tuesday night, they were doing good business. My dining partner had the buffet and seemed satisfied!

Very good Chinese food! Pricey for the buffet that’s why I’m giving it 3 stars. When it came to the dessert I thought I was going to get quality ice cream but it was prepackaged not gallons. Need better desserts though!

I came to this buffet during their opening week a few years back and was expected something great, all I got was average. Their interior design is very nice and staff friendly as well. I only wished their food selection and quality was a bit better. I would definitely try this place again just to see if they have improved since their opening week.

I believe the 2 reviews from the Californians must be for a different buffet, maybe in their state as at W China Buffet in Des Moines, you do not pay in advance and the server brings your drinks, watches closely to offer drink refills and has dirty plates off of your table in no time. During lunch(we have never been there in the evening) she does it all, practically by herself. The hostess helps all over including checking for any more food needed on the buffet when it gets short on any dish, They have wonderful food and a very big variety. Everything is very clean and the employees are all as friendly as can be. We live in Grimes, but whenever we have appts. on the east side, we are here afterwards. Absolutely wonderful, especially if you have been fasting for 12 hours for medical tests. I would recommend to anyone and everyone.

This buffet place is a bit different than other places around town. You pay first, and then the rest is self serve. You grab your own drinks, silverware, and so on. There is no waiter. However, there is a guy who comes around and picks up dirty plates. I thought this place was pretty good. The food was pretty good, and the ambiance was very pleasant. Nice variety and they even have a chocolate fountain. The restaurant keeps touting«no tips required»…but don’t be a jackass. The one guy running around picking up dirty plates and clearing away dirty tables is working his ass off. Leave him a tip for christ’s sake. I would suggest you get there early for dinner… before 6:30pm or so. We got there at 6:00pm and it was pretty pleasant. Just nice families, couples, and nice people in general who were enjoying their dinner. I guess this is the time when courteous people eat here. Around 6:30, really loud obnoxious people started coming in, in droves. The most annoying was this group of 3 African American boys. One of them tried to sneak in, and was tracked down by the manager and was politely asked to pay for his meal. He then made combative gestures, sheepishly paid after arguing for a while, and then continued to sit right next to us and use vulgar language very loudly. They even brought in a mini-tv and turned on obnoxious, vulgar music filled with F-this and F-that…and everyone within a 20 foot radius could hear it. We all just looked at eachother and rolled our eyes. My table decided to leave after 5 minutes of that. In summary, I would recommend this place to friends. Just come early. The food’s great. Be sure to tip the guy(in cash… otherwise he doesn’t get the tip) who is working his tail off, clearing off dirty tables.
