My daughter requested a spa day for her thirteenth birthday. This was a fine place to go, but with acne prone sensitive skin I think that was one to many issues, and if you have both of those issues going on, this may not be the place for you. Everyone was polite at this spa. The prices seem on par with other salons in St. Louis.

In full disclosure, it’s been *years* since I’ve had a «professional» manicure. The aftermath of peeling cuticles made me regret them. And I get professional pedis rather infrequently, as I prefer to do them at home. I’ll be honest, this time I needed to pamper myself a bit. To nurse my tired, achy feet and hands, I decided on a mani-pedi. I was OK paying a bit more but did not want an exclusive, ultra high-end spa experience. After reading the reviews(some made me worried), I made an appointment at Go! Spa and hoped for the best. I went in cautiously optimistic. Really, I went in with pretty low expectations because I’ve had 1 or 2 «fancy»(more expensive spa) mani-pedis before, that were total crap. I went in and was cheerfully greeted and checked-in. I felt like it started out a bit rocky as my appointment started about 12 minutes past the scheduled time(15 minutes late is my maximum late time). And then when it did start, it stopped because the previous person came back in asking to fix the wet nail polish she accidentally scuffed. All reasonable. And it helped that they were apologetic. After all of that, I found myself in a quiet space, settled into the most comfortable reclining chair and tended to by Wonder. Who, was just lovely and well, wonderful. She was so professional, funny, and easy to talk to. She was great about educating me about nail care, how to maintain my manicure, care for my cuticles, etc. The other best surprise was that the services were completely different from the other nail salons. It was kind of jarring at first, but it felt good and personal. In the end, my cuticles weren’t completely peeled off, my skin is soft, and my nails clean… and I’m moisturizing as Wonder encouraged. This is my new go-to place for manicures for sure! While I can’t afford to return on a regular basis, I’ll definitely return for some routine maintenance and the occasional pampering. :)

GoSpa! Is a great option for groups or if you are looking for a quick in-and-out appointment. The space is very welcoming and clean. The staff were very patient and accommodating for our group. Michael gave a great massage– especially if you are looking for deep tissue or sports massage I highly recommend him!!!

Let me first say that I been to many spas and have been getting pedicures for years so I know what to expect. I was just there Saturday for a pre-mother’s day outing with my mother, mother in law and my daughter. The first issue was them not accommodating my daughter who should have been included in my reservation of 4. When paying for the services I was told that my daughter was never included in the reservation and that they were«Sorry.» Then the manager later says she should be able fit her in, and then says that she wouldn’t. My daughter is only ten so she was quite frustrated. I feel that something should have been done and that she should have waited until she knew for sure if she could or couldn’t fit her in before coming to us. Not professional at all! Then I feel the pedicures were totally over priced for the services given. For a $ 63 pedicure, I expected the carpet to be rolled and it was simply just ok. The polish selection was limited… the water to soak your feet in was warm. It just wasn’t a big deal. This was my mother in-law’s very first pedicure so I wanted it to be really special. And the ad on the website mentions a Hummingbird cake… I totally forgot to ask about it. But I shouldn’t have had to remind anyone about a promotion. That’s insane! I hope they understand that customers keep their doors open and word of mouth is essential to the success of a business. I would never recommend this place anyone. I should have read the reviews first. Reviews never lie!

Amazing experience! I’m from CA and have been in town visiting my daughter and new grandson. I ended up with a migraine on Tuesday and it was so severe that I wound up at urgent care throwing up and hooked up to an IV. After the 4th day of my migraine I decided to go get a deep tissue massage. Caleb was AMAZING and I feel like an expert on Masseuse’s since I’ve had migraines for over 20 years and regularly use their services. He took time before the appointment to talk to me, ask pertinent questions and explain how our bodies work and the connections. During the service he was open to feedback on pressure and asked if he could try different techniques on me that I hadn’t had done before. After the appointment he spent more time reinforcing to me to change some of my bad habits I have(sitting with the wrong posture in chairs, etc). None of it was overwhelming and you could tell he really cared and wanted to help, he was very sincere. Because of my migraines my massages tend to not be relaxing as I prefer deep tissue to eventually help with the pain. He had the perfect blend and helped me finally after 4 days feel better. I would highly recommend this Spa. Everyone was extremely friendly and it was a relaxing environment and Caleb was my lifesaver this week.

I confess. I’m a sucker for girl power and all that jazz. I was first introduced to Go! Spa for a blogger party and fell in love. I loved it so much I joined their Groove Club. So, you’ll see me once a month for either a mani/pedi combo, massage or facial. The have quite the selection of OPI polishes and always have the latest and greatest colors. They have super comfy chairs for the pedicures, and they are none like anything you’ve had before. Everyone is nice and friendly. I feel like all the gals that have done my nails we go into some deep and meaningful conversation about life, family kids. So not your typical spa! So 2 thumbs and 2 toes up!

I just visited Go Spa! this past weekend and was completely amazed! It was very easy to book and they were able to accomodate my party of three in the timeframe I needed. My manicure looks absolutely amazing and I am stunned by the value and the efficiency I received. I will definitely be going back for facial services and am very pleased with the types of membership that they offer for services you would complete nearly every month. Definite A+ in my book!!!

I have extremely mixed feelings about Go! Spa…I’m even mixed on the number of stars to actually give… but I guess overall, it was good experience. I should start by saying I am extremely picky about my spa experience and I actually haven’t been to a 5 star spa(in my opinion) in St. Louis, ever. Joey was great to work with when booking the appointments and extremely accommodating with any request. We arrived at Go! Spa and I was immediately shocked to find the non-spa like atmosphere. I was expecting to walk into an all pink, girly, relaxing spa, and instead walked into a crowded shop full of clutter and junk. There seemed to be no separation of the shop and the spa until I actually was in the room where I was getting my massage. There was all kinds of hustle and bustle in the front, and to the sides of us technicians were cleaning and getting ready for other clients. I felt rushed and stressed before going in for the massage. Also, terrible music plays out in the shop. «I heard it through the grapevine», was one of the songs played while I waited. Uhh, no thanks. Not relaxing. My masseuse came to get me and showed me to the room. She took me in a room where there were two massage beds. Odd, but ok. I don’t remember much about the room but when I laid down and put my face in the hole all I could see was a dirty concrete floor, WHAT? I thought it was extremely odd, it was kind of like they forgot to finish the floor, and if you are getting a massage, that’s really the only thing you see. So, I decided to close my eyes(and not open them again), and just focus on how awesome the massage bed and music were. The music in the room was some of the best spa music I’ve ever experienced. Then my masseuse came back in and started my massage. I think I was transferred to another universe. It was a great massage and extremely relaxing. I usually have massages where it seems like the only thing I get is my knots worked on. This girl was all about the relaxation and when she did my feet, I can honestly say I had an out of body experience. I really can’t explain it. I usually can’t even handle foot massages but this was like none other. The friend I went with had a terrible experience with her massage so it really must depend on who you get there. She said the majority of her hour was spent solely on her arms! I felt very disappointed for her and encouraged her to be vocal about it to Joey when we checked out. When Joey asked, she explained it wasn’t the best experience and Joey apologized profusely and gave her a discount. I thought that was handled really well. I might go back to Go! Spa if I was strictly there for a massage and not a spa like relaxing experience, but then again, I want a relaxing spa like experience!

Bliss! Oh my God, bliss. I’ve had a gift certificate to Go! Spa collecting dust in my room for well over a year and I decided to finally use it today. It was for the price of the Go! Spa facial so that’s what I went with, and boy am I glad I did. It’s in an older shopping center and doesn’t look impressive from the outside, but don’t let that fool you… just look for all the pink and you’ve probably found it. The receptionist working today was as CUTE as a button… she was so polite and got me checked in and asked if I wanted to pay before the facial(I love that option) and made sure I didn’t want anything to drink, etc. Katie did my facial today and it was by far the best one I’ve ever had. First of all, lets talk about those heated beds. It’s immediately relaxing and I really would like to inquire about buying one of those for my apartment in the winter, no joke. The music was calming and the room smelled just lovely, and before the facial started she gave me a hot pillow to hug to my stomach. I’m serious when I say I haven’t been that relaxed in a really long time. Katie went through all the steps… cleaning, exfoliation, mask, cucumbers, etc, but what really stood out was the neck and shoulder massage. Katie was blessed with some phenomenal hands, let me tell you. She also did my favorite which is a head massage, and I never wanted it to end. Perfect facial/massage and I prefer it to any other spa experience I’ve had. Get dressed and they give you a water & you’re on your way! Couple notes: –Don’t wear eye makeup, it’s just a pain –Bring a ponytail if you plan on going anywhere because your hair will get a little oily and lotion-y Now excuse me while I lay down to take a nap.

I am wondering how Go Spa is still in business! I was there on a Friday afternoon with a wedding party. The bride had purchased each of is a gift card as part of our gift and had scheduled us all an appointment before the big day. The bride made specific appointments(how many were getting a mani, pedi, and who upgraded for the French manicure). There were 6 of us total and the first 3 of us in the door(we arrived within 5 minutes of each other) got service right away, two other girls had to wait about 45 – 60 minutes before they were taken care of and were refused a French manicure because«there was not enough time», and the one girl, ended up not getting a manicure at all!!! She kept inquiring, as she had an appointment and was told«hold on, hold on, your next». Then after inquiring the last time, she was told«the lady who was supposed to do her nails had to leave to pick up her child from school»! It was very frustrating that they advertise spa parties, but was unable to accommodate! We tried to make the best of it, as the bride had put a lot of effort in making it a special afternoon, but I will never go there again! Horrible, Horrible Service! They did not even try to fix the problem. They did not even care that they could not honor their reservation.

Woah, woah, woah. Girls, they bring the pedicures to you! Amazeballs!(If this isn’t new to you, sorry, but I’ve never seen this before). You take a seat on the couch(I die!) and they bring over a tub for your footsies. Wha?! Yea. It’s true. Things are advertised and priced by time: under :20 mins, Spoiled Rotten at :60 mins, and :60 mins plus. This is a darling, clean spa loaded with girly décor and a little gift shop. People are regulars who gossip with the staff. I loves it! And the important part, I got a manicure on Saturday and it’s just starting to look shitty, which is about 5 days longer than a manicure has ever lasted me. Next time I’m in the lou, I’ll head here for my pampering services.

This is no uppity, pretentious, you are nervous your breathing will disturb everyone else’s tranquility. No, this is girlfriend bonding at its best. Ladies(and maybe some guys) remember when you were a little girl and saw movies where friends would go to these lush fun spas for massages together– Go! Spa is the fulfillment of every little girls fantasy. Bright fun colors, fun music comfy chairs to sit on while you chat with your girlfriends and get mani’s and pedi’s. What more could you ask for. Plus they offer a full spa; massages, facials, waxing. And they have a little bit of everything. For those of us who are really busy or watching our budgets they have 20 – 30 minute treatments of every kind. For those of us looking for a little more they have 45 minute services and then they have hour+ services. It is great you can go in with a girlfriend and just get a foot or shoulder massage for 20 minutes. Another great thing is you can host parties there. They can bring in food and wine or you can bring your own along with a bunch of girlfriends. It is great for bachelorette parties or birthdays. You can rent out the whole spa very reasonably or for smaller gatherings they have a private circus like tent in the back. Fun and relaxation is always had here– plus carry all kinds of cute and unique gifts from pj’s to jewelry.
