LOFT

Just had my first experience with the loft and I absolutely loved it! I went in looking for a dress and took a few back to the dressing room, as I was trying them on one of the ladies that works there (Beth) told me they had the same styles in petites that would fit my 5’1″ frame much better. Beth went into the back and brought me several dresses to try on and was so helpful in helping me pick out which was best for the occasion.

I’m a fan — when there’s a sale. Otherwise, I’m a cheapskate when it comes to clothes. They have a great selection of clothes that I can wear to work and quite a few items that would be cute enough to wear out as well. I always feel like I have plenty of work clothes but nothing I can wear out to dinner with friends or something. It’s nice when I can find an outfit that can do both — especially if I have to go from work to play with no time to stop at home.
This past weekend they had an extra 30% off clearance and an extra 30% on top of that for friends and family weekend. Keep a look out for those deals! I got a dress that I can wear to an upcoming wedding, two tanks/​shells, and a sweater with tax for less than $ 60. Woot!
The staff is very friendly and helpful… though the girl in the dressing room kept calling all the ladies «hun». I didn’t mind, but I’m 25. She was probably around the same age, maybe a little younger, and I can’t imagine some of the older ladies being cool with that. Probably a retail sales mistakes…
