Stopped by one evening after work for a bite. Employees were very friendly and patiently explained the ordering process to me. I got the beef cheesesteak and it blew me away. Best sandwich I’ve had from a restaurant! Bread was perfectly toasted and the meat was just right and juicy. Came with a choice of chips and a drink. Perfect meal. Definitely will come back to try other menu items.

I’m not a fan of sandwiches, but I eat them if I have to. My daughter decided that this was where we were going to have lunch today, and I relented. To my very pleasant surprise, I loved my lunch! The ordering process was so easy and the menu options were huge. I picked crab and artichoke under the heading for seafood and piled my sandwich high with bacon, egg and lots of veges. I picked their house chips and was not disappointed at all. My daughter had the Monte Cristo, which is a sandwich which has neat, cheese and powdered sugar, and she told me that this sandwich is the only reason why she comes here. Move over, all other sandwich joints! I know I’ll be back here for more.

Great sandwichs, BLT if definitely suppurb. Love the fun easy to create a sandwich! My favorite part must be the manager. Everything I’m there he greets me with a smile. And I get a free rice crispy treat. Great food, and great service. That is what you need to a have great and successful business and that is what they have.

Friendly owner, explained the unique ordering process well. I got the Reuben after seeing the advertisement that was placed outside of the store, my wife got the Italian with many veggies. After seeing the massive look of the Reuben I was disappointed at the size of the sandwich I received. The food was average and I will select Fozzies over this in the future. The price of 2 sandwiches, soda, chips, and a shake(which was tasty), came out to be $ 22, a bit pricey.

Excellent selection and the owners couldn’t be nicer people. Plus they stock Billy Goat potato chips. Thanks for supporting the local company. I never buy chips at subway or other sub places because all they have is same-old selection. We will be back with the boys.

Good sandwiches! Ordering process was a bit overwhelming at first but would imagine once you better understand the offerings would be a breeze.

I loved which wich in San Diego and I love it in St. louis too! Staff was awesome today in explaining to customers behind us how everything works. My sandwich was really good! I did expect more avocado than I receive but still! I’m definitely excited to come back and try the shrimp bahn mi!

First sandwich at which wich. I waited about 30 minutes not worth the wait. A gyro I ordered, was on a stale pita, the meat was good, but which sandwich shop next time? I will think twice.

Wow… what an experience we had here! After a long day registering at Crate & Barrel, we were starving, so we decided to go somewhere where they don’t skip on the portions, and we know will be good. So naturally we came here. The situation started off a little bit disappointing, but it didn’t stay that way for long. Sarah ordered a Philly Cheesesteak that was supposed to come on a specific type Italian bread. Sadly they were out, but she never had the bread before, so it’s not like she was missing it. Then we ordered 2 chocolate chip cookies and we proceeded to pay our tab. Shortly after the grill cook sees our ticket, he tells the cashier/manager that they are out of chocolate chip cookies. Again, a disappointment. I was over getting my soft drink, when Sarah told them to do peanut butter cookies instead. I disagreed with that assessment, because generally I find peanut butter cookies to be dry and crumbly. I asked instead for a brownie. They said absolutely, and told us to let us know when we were done eating our sandwiches, and they would heat up the brownie and bring it out. I thought that was very nice of them, trying to make up for their shortcomings. When our sandwiches came up, they had heated up peanut butter cookies, and some chocolate chip cookies that broke when they scraped them off the cookie sheet that they normally wouldn’t serve to customers, but again, they heated them up and gave them to us. They were ugly, but tasted great. The peanut butter cookies were the BEST that I’ve ever had. They were very moist, and had peanut butter chips in them, and since they heated them up was essentially like warm gooey peanut butter in your mouth. OMG. Words cannot describe my bliss. After eating all of the cookies and the sandwiches, we were going to tell them to hold off on the brownie, as I felt like they more than made up for it with the cookies, and overall positive, friendly attitude. They were very excited about the brownie, so we couldn’t refuse. They brought it out, in a cup, with some ice cream, and chocolate sauce. Way above and beyond our expectations. It was also incredible. All in all, the best experience I have ever had at a sandwich shop. I again say what I said in my tip of this place. How in the world does places like Subway and the like exist when this place does? I love Which Wich, and I can’t wait to visit again. Now just put one out in St. Charles somewhere, so I can visit you for lunch during the work week!

I really like this place — first tried it a couple months back, and have made it a weekly/bi-weekly stop, whenever I get the chance. This is a refreshing, and very delicious alternative to the other options that are out there! Try the grinder — hot — and add coleslaw and/or pesto + garlic seasoning…

Excellent place, went in there earlier today to get something for lunch. The interior was spotless. Nice staff, friend even came in with chik fil a from across the street and got joking grief from presumably the franchisee and/or manager… It was all in good fun and he was given a brownie on the house afterwards. What I like most about which wich in general is how their sandwiches rarely let their toppings out of the sandwich, no matter how many you select to put on. So delicious. Will continue to be a long time customer.

This place was just ok. This was my first time here and my husband and I went for breakfast. I got a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. Now that is my go to breakfast sandwich, but I was disappointed in the fact that it was bacon bits and way to many on my sandwich. I know what your thinking, to much bacon. Yes, to much bacon. I could not taste anything but bacon r so I had to take some off. I will be back for lunch and see if I like that better.

One of the great things about Which Wich is that you can get a breakfast sandwich any time of the day. It was mid-day on a Saturday and I hadn’t had anything to eat yet… I stopped by to pick up a ham and egg with avocado and spinach. It was good, and filling. The wife ordered a bacon and egg sandwich. It wasn’t nearly as good. They use bacon bits instead of bacon slices. And do I dare say… there was just too much bacon on it. It was off. I seriously have no idea how STL supports the numerous amounts of sandwhich shops around. Which Wich fits right in. They have a good selection and friendly employees.

The way in which(see what I did there?) you order at Which Wich may be a little overwhelming the first time you go, but the employees are very friendly and will help you figure it out. Basically, you determine the main category of sandwich you want and choose a paper bag that corresponds to the category number. You then use a Sharpie to indicate what all you want on your sandwich. Once you’ve figured that all out and give your bag to the cashier, you just wait for your meal to arrive! I don’t think I’ve ever gotten the same sandwich twice, and I’ve enjoyed every one of them. My only, minor, complaint is that they have Coke Zero available in cans but not in the fountain. That always disappoints me.

Which Wich has so many options that your first visit might be a little overwhelming. Rest assured, the ordering process actually is quite easy. Take a deep breath. Relax. You can do this. When you first walk in, you will see the menu on the wall to your right. The menu board provides a nice at-a-glance overview of what they offer and how much everything costs. I know, I know. That’s kind of what menus do. However, once you’ve been here, you’ll probably find that you only need the menu for checking prices. That’s because you’ll place your order by filling out one of the bags below the menu. Bags 1 – 10 each correspond to a certain type of sandwich: 1 — Turkey 2 — Ham & Pork 3 — Beef 4 — Chicken 5 — Seafood 6 — Vegetarian 7 — Italian 8 — R&D, a special limited-time sandwich 9 — Classics 10 — Breakfast With the exception of Bag 8(the limited-time offer), each bag lists about five different types of sandwiches within the specified category. For example, with Bag 9(Classics), you have a choice of BLT, Gryo, Elvis Wich, Monte Cristo, or Egg Salad. On your first visit, the menu board will be helpful in showing you what is in each category so that you don’t have to go down the line picking up each bag to check out your options. However, if you have your favorites like I do, you’ll soon find yourself walking in and grabbing your bag like it ain’t no thang. How to order: First, decide«which wich» you want. Let’s say you want a simple turkey sandwich. Grab Bag 1(Turkey) and one of the red Sharpies located within the bins in the counter. Mark«turkey» at the top of the bag, the type of bread and size of sandwich you would like, and whether you would like your wich hot or cold. Then, indicate which toppings(e.g., sauces, vegetables, spices) you would like to add. Some toppings, such as avocado, bacon, egg, or double cheese will cost extra. Refer to my photo example of a bag filled out for a turkey sandwich. If you are counting calories, Which Wich has lower-calorie options for you. You can choose to have your sandwich made as a «Bowlwich,» which means they will turn it into a salad for you. The Bowlwich is served only in one size, but it is a good-sized salad. You can ask for a «Lettucewich,» also one size, where your sandwich will be wrapped in lettuce rather than bread. If you love bread and aren’t willing to give it up, you also can select«Skinny My Wich.» They will scoop out some of the bread, saving you around 90 – 100 calories on the small(7″) wich. Once you have filled out your bag with your perfectly customized order, be sure to write your name at the bottom of the bag. Proceed to the cashier, pay, and wait for them to call your name when your food is ready! Your wich will be wrapped and handed to you in the bag you filled out for them. If you ordered a Bowlwich, your dressing and utensils will be in the bag. I don’t want to complicate things, but they also have a bag for a sandwich they call«The Wicked»(five meats and three cheeses) and a bag for their Kidswiches. I believe a Kidswich is served on regular sandwich bread. If you’re in the mood for dessert, there’s a bag for that as well. Which Wich offers shakes and sweets such as cookies, brownies, and«krispie» treats. That’s how it works, but how does it taste? What is it like? To me, it’s like a Subway that has more variety. However, in my opinion, Which Wich uses higher-quality ingredients. Perhaps as a consequence, it tends to be a little more expensive than Subway. Here are some tips: 1. Get a punch card to start working toward a free sandwich, and then be sure to go on Tuesdays for double-punch day! 2. Join the Vibe club for Which Wich news and special offers. You’ll get a free offer just for signing up. In my case, it was a coupon for a free large drink. 3. You get a reusable plastic cup when you order a large drink. Take the cup home, wash it, and bring it back next time to get a «refill discount» on your large drink. 4. This location serves breakfast, but they open kind of late(10:30 Monday-Saturday and 11:00 on Sunday). However, breakfast is served all day! 5. Don’t forget to grab some napkins before you leave. They don’t stuff any in with your sandwich. Napkins, or technically paper towels, are located on a roll near the soda fountain. 6. I wouldn’t recommend eating your to-go order in your car. I usually get a Bowlwich or small wich. They pack the bowl really well, which I love. However, it can be a little tricky to mix your salad on your lap. For the small wich, they wrap it in paper and cut it in half diagonally. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a wich that was completely cut into two distinct paper-wrapped pieces. I end up having to tear the sandwich apart, consequently getting veggies all over my lap. Maybe I’m dysfunctional. 7. It’s a little slow at times, but that’s okay. I’m not in any hurry. :) Hey, did you know Unilocal reviews have a character limit? I’m a few characters shy of of it. Guess I’m finished! :)

Very cool place. Make it your own style right when you walk in the door, grab a brown back and check off your options for your sandwich. Neat idea! I had a 6inch turkey sandwich and I would say it was plenty! This was a good choice for an on-the-run lunch as I ate it on my way to meet a client. It was easy to eat on the go. The staff wasn’t as friendly as I expected for a «hip» looking place, they were just so-so. Planning on going back soon, sandwich was good enough for me to go back with a friend soon to try the dining in experience.

Nice place! Very friendly and a wide selection of sandwiches and what they call«bowlwiches». They have lite offerings and selections for kids. I had the Black Bean. Really good. I will definitely go back and try more. Lots of vegetarian selections as well. A unique way of ordering that I also like. It gives you time to think about what you want. Check the boxes on the bag, write down your name and turn it in. Clever concept.

Love the concept of Which Wich. For the picky… er… discerning diners, you can completely customize your sammie! You pick up a bag with the base of your sandwich… aka… veggie, ham, turkey, etc. Then you choose if you want white, wheat, lettuce wrap or bowl… what size. and if you want it cold or hot. Then you pick the toppings and combinations you want. They also serve house made chips, hot cookies, and shakes. You pay and wait for your order to come up. I tried the black bean patty on my sandwich this time, and I hadn’t tried it before. It was great! Flavorful, a little spicy, and filling. It was really good! For $ 5.50(7″ size) it was a win. I’ll be back for sure!

Which Wich is a great new concept of a sandwich shop that offers a huge variety of sandwiches that you can customize to your heart’s content. When you first walk in, you will immediately notice the giant wall with 10 types of brown paper bags, each with their own number. Basically the bag indicates the style of sandwich that you want, with several options available on the bag that you get to select, typically each bag has about 5 – 8 different sandwiches which you select using a sharpie and indicating your selection. Once you have decided on a specific sandwich you now have to select all your toppings, some of which come at a slight additional cost however many are free. Once you have made all your choices and written your name on the bag it’s time to pay, the previous steps really simplify the order process. Prices here are reasonable, and you can select three sizes to fill any appetite so there is no way you are going home hungry. My first visit I tried a Pizza Sandwich, which was served with sauce, pepperoni, and cheese. This was a great sandwich and offered a great change of pace from Subway and Quizno’s. I also tried their house chips, which seemed to be nothing more than slightly seasoned Ruffles chips, not bad however the portion size was very small. Overall I was so pleased with my experience I returned just a few days later to have another sandwich. I am pleased to have Which Wich so close to my office and will probably be a frequent customer. One strike I have against this place is that they do not offer any type of recycling, and considering that you order on a brown paper bag and your sandwich is then wrapped up and put inside the bag. Same goes with their house chips, which are placed in a plastic bag, and then again in a brown bag, it seems wasteful to just toss out the paper bags. I think offering the option to recycle some of their waste would be great.
