I don’t snack much, never have, eat my 3 squares and all’s good. The other day I found myself eating a late breakfast and skipped lunch… by mid afternoon I just needed something to carry me to dinner.
The DPO, that’s Des Plaines Oasis for those in Rio Linda, was in sight and since I needed gas, that was my snacking destination. What better time to check out Auntie Annes, a place that always looks and smells great, but I never get it as stated above.
I went with the Pretzel sticks with a side of cheese. Very disappointed that the cheese came in a small pre-​packaged plastic container, all sealed up. I always thought the cheese came hot and fresh, served in a clear plastic ramican of sorts. Oh, well, the sticks were very good, the cheese rather meh and overall a 3 star snack that got me to the dinner hour.
