I brought in my camera to this place because the part that holds the batterys in the camera had broken. They told me they would replace the part and call me in 3 to 4 days. Finally after a week I called them and they told me my camera was ready. When I came in I noticed all they did was screw in the the part that was holding in the batterys. They didnt replace anything and charged me 40 dollars. Total ripoff. Dont come here!

Let me gladly be the first to review Mr. Lee’s camera service. I have taken two 40 year old cameras to Mr. Lee for repairs and they came back in pristine working condition. He gave my Yashica Lynx 1000 built in 1960 a CLA and repair(film transport problem) for $ 50. Wow. It’s gorgeous and works great. My review of the camera is at . A month or so ago I took my Canon QL17 to Mr. Lee. Oil had gummed up the aperture, the viewfinder was yellow, and the camera seals were decayed. I think he was excited to see my 40 year old camera from about 1970. $ 60 later and its gorgeous again and working just fine. You can see it and its photos at . Mr. Lee doesn’t speak much English and he is a man of few words. I don’t speak Korean. But we both have cameras as a common language. If you need a camera repair or perhaps a spare part for an old camera(filter perhaps) visit Mr. Lee. I’m from Chicago, IL and driving my old cameras to Mr. Lee is certainly worth the trip.
