Worst experience ever. I scheduled a 26′ truck a week and a half in advance and even received a confirmation that the truck will be on site waiting. When I went to pick it up he tells me that they don’t have a truck for me. The guy said they knew of the problem the night before but didn’t do anything about it. Then they sent me to a different location where they said a smaller truck is. Would not recommend U Haul to anyone.

We needed to rent a trailer in Knoxville but we were not sure if our trailer hitch and electrical connections were correct. so Mount Prospect let us come over and try everything out and sold us the adapter we needed so everything went smooth in Knoxville. they were very helpful.

I called their number, spoke to Melissa and reserved a light kit install. She insisted that I pick a time — so I picked 2:30 in the afternoon. She said that she had to go check to see if there was availability — came back, confirmed that there was. She then insisted that to «hold the reservation» I provide her with my credit card number. She confirmed that I was reserved and my mechanic will be Anthony.
Two minutes later, got a receipt in e-mail confirming my «reservation» for 2:30pm.
Arrived at 2:15pm and was told that they don’t have anyone around to do any work — and that they had moved my reservation until tomorrow. I asked why they didn’t call — it would have saved a 30 minute trip — the person at the counter answered «I don’t know…»
Neither do I.
Oh well. Not going back to this place again.
