Stopped By here once ordered including a drink never gave me my drink never checked back my table… he tried to charge me for the drink at the cashier I, I told him he never checked in or gave me my drink he did not apologize the beans and rice was funky I made them aware he even got the cook to take a big bite of both rice and been sand told me they’re fine that’s how it is… just yesterday my family stopped by from Los Angeles to visit they got hungry not notifying me and searched the nearest place and they happen to choose this place long story short they had no complaints but 1 adult feeling a bit like morning sickness after the meal from this very SPOT… they promised never to go back POOR SERVICE TO END THIS REVIEW

We stopped in here a quick lunch after spending the last several hours at a spa. The friendly owner greeted us and quickly brought us water, which is so necessary when you are in the dry, dry desert. I ordered the special of the day — the fish tacos, served with rice and beans. The tacos were huge and I loved the salsa and white sauce, but wasn’t crazy about the fish, which wasn’t quite cooked through. My hon of hons husband had a chicken taco, which was delicious, and we shared the rice and beans. I don’t know what kind of seasoning was used on the rice, but it was great.
Oh, I also had a Michelada for the first time and it was disgusting. Beer and clamato? WTF was I thinking?
One final note — the place has crazy ass décor. It must’ve been a seafood restaurant at one time since the booths are covered with a nautical print, and the floors and tables are covered with murals of fish, octopus, shells, seaweed, etc. Pretty cool.

Been coming here for years, really love it. This hidden gem confuses me. The seafood is always so fresh and delicious, cant get enough of the fish and shrimp ceviche! The micheladas are spicy and the margaritas do their job well. What confuses me is that it’s always empty here, yet it stays open and keeps everything so fresh. I’ll be back soon.

Great food and service. Love the La Palapa style shrimp and fish. Our favorite Mexican food ever!

Love the La Palapa fish specialty. WIll drive 3 hours just to have dinner here. Service is excellent… friendly and accommodating.
Décor is a bit odd.
