I just brought home a pizza from Rocky’s. This is always problematic because my instincts kick in when I smell the pizza in the car. I am very tempted to pull to the side of the road just to sample a slice. But I fought the urge and it remained intact until I got into the house. Seriously, their pizzas are incredible. Great crust and the sauce is very tasty. Good ingredients and generous portions are used. If you are in the area and looking for really great pizza, Rocky’s will fill the bill. Also on occasion, I have had their lunch specials. Very ample servings, delicious and a great value. A local restaurant that certainly beats the national competitors on every level. They deserve our support!

When I think NY style pizza, I think thin slices in Brooklyn! I didn’t get that here but I did get a solid pizza. We picked up a Rocky’s special and as some customers said, it’s dense so can get soggy BUT we kept it in warming in the oven and had no crust issues. Excellent Customer Service! We will recommend Rocky’s to all our guests!

Chicken parm is really good, as are the homemade meatballs. Yum! Cozy, hole in the wall. Would definitely come back.

Well i was surprised by this! having lived in the valley ive always had a negative view on Dhs haha. i was hesitant to try this place but was stranded at home so i gave it a shot. They brought me my items in just about 40 mins which is what they said. Only thing tho, wrong pizza, i asked for pepperoni and meatball, but got pepperchini. Called them and BAM brought me the correct pizza AND left the other pizza with me. Needless to say, the meatballs were delicious! i got the meatball sub also and had a bite, FREAKINGDELICIOUS! thanks guys for having great customer service and hooking me up with a new pizza. They didnt even question or complain, just offered to bring me the right order! thank you again,

My husband wanted to try something local. We live in a 55 and over community for three months in the winter months, in Desert Hot Springs. Well, we had driven by Rocky’s so thought we’d stop in. Greeted with a smile you order at the counter and my goodness the prices are just right for a budget. The food was good and they have pitchers of pop really inexpensive! I liked the lasagna better than the pizza but that is my personal opinion.

I like to support local businesses! And since we moved here we have ordered from«Rockys» about 3/times and each time it has been excellent. The homemade meatballs, pizza & pizza crust, garlic bread, sauce is yummy!!! The Rockeys special is my favorite pizza. The coupon for specials is on the back of stater brothers receipts. It’s a great deal! Very fast delivery & a very nice staff & delivery guy.

Love the eggplant parmigiano. …excellent. Atmosphere is ok… not the greatest… feels like a 70’s diner. But the staff is friendly and the food is great… Great place for a good meal with family and friends.

As a former S. Jersey resident, I stop at most self proclaimed New York pizza joints to put them to the test. I ordered the 3 topping large. Sausage, pepperoni and ham. The smell was wonderful and the toppings generous. I read other posts and a few claimed the crust was soggy. It’s not unusual. The grease is from the cheese, and the meats. Also if you get mushroom on your pizza… watch out… sog city. When the pizza comes, dab the grease with napkins and place some below the pie. So having said that it’s not unusual because NY thin crust doesn’t have enough bread to soak the oils up. The cheese was great quality and sauce was spot on. That’s a big deal outside of the NorthEast. The crust needs a little tuning up but was good enough… it was kinda bland. Back east we use King James flour, sometimes olive oil and more salt than here. Don’t forget, before you bite into your pizza, throw some garlic powder and oregano on it. Cons: I didn’t like the .50 cent charge for refills.

Super greasy pizza, so Greasy that within five minutes the slices got super saggy, that’s not the worse part my daughter my wife and I ate the pizza and in the evening my wife and I had a very bad stomach ache and my daughter had vomit. Definitely won’t be going back and if you dare to try U better have a stomach made of steel! Good luck

No way this place is getting anything higher than three stars. Let’s talk about the green salad. Are you kidding me? For $ 2.75 I got a cup of ice burg lettuce and two shavings of a tomato. Serious insult. The pizza was traditional thick crust, slightly under baked(or not delivered fast enough… I would never want that job). Keep your expectations at «average» and you’ll be fine.

I love it here! Good service, family owned & amazing food!!! Not just any old pizza! I love the pizza, and ice tea! The cannolis are the best thing ever!!! I have been coming here regularly(except when they close in the summer:/) since 2012, and have friends who’ve been coming here longer… always the same amazing results!!! Don’t waste your time, money and calories at Pizza Hut or dominos, this is REAL pizza, and warm atmosphere with helpful, friendly staff! Thank you again Rockys for always being amazing!!!

Ordered a pizza for take out on Saturday night during half time of the Notre Dame game. Got there before the 20 minute time frame and my pizza was hot and ready — which was nice because we didn’t miss too much of the game. The employee was really nice when I made my order and when I picked up the pizza. Ordered a medium 3 topping pizza which was great! Toppings were really fresh and even though we got pepperoni, it wasn’t too greasy! The sauce was a little heavy for my liking but the crust was crispy and thick. The only thing I wish was that I ordered the large salad instead of the small one because it was smaller than I had thought it would be. All and all a great place to get a pizza from!

Amazing pizza in the desert and close to real NYC pizza. I am an east coast transplant and their pizza has great dough and taste. Closed on Sunday and wish they delivered in Palm Springs.

Love their pizza, sauce, and meatballs! This place has some lunch specials that include salad, drink, and pasta starting at 7.50 $ not bad at all considering the portion can be for 2 people. Place itself needs to be updated as far as their sitting area– but other than that, food is excellent.

I know NY style pizza, & this ain’t it! I’ve wanted to try Rockys for a while now. I finally did, & I was very disappointed. The crust was very dry, but not crispy. It was just yucky. I think the dough was old and the oven was not hot enough. The sauce was ok, & the cheese was so-so. I guess I’d built up an expectation of finally having NY pizza & was very let down. All in all, Dominos, makes a better pizza!

Great atmosphere and pizza is really tasty:) if you like a lot of cheese choose Rocky’s New York Pizzeria. My husband and I had a great time! And the refills were only 50 cents!!!
