Totally disgusted by the way as a breast cancer survivor and a woman I was treated by DIETRK one of the trainers here and the inability of the manager Dave to control his employees. Filed complaint with corporate and they cancelled my membership so the inappropriate actions of DIETRK can continue without him getting punished the customers who complain get punished but not his behavior. TRULY DISGUSTING. WOMEN BEWARE WHEN JOINING HERE

As others have said, the gym is clean and nice. But what really stands out for me is how nice the staff is. There’s always a big smile and «hello» when I walk in.

Clean. Great atmosphere. Awesome staff.. It’s usually not too crowded. I love this place… Get a great workout without driving real far… Wish the wifi issues would get resolved

They make it VERY difficult to terminate membership.
I was told that if I move away, then I will be able to cancel my membership with no problems. After contacting the corporate office to terminate my membership, I got a lot of run-​of-​mill responses. They would tell me to fax my information over so they can do the paperwork for termination. I not only faxed all the information, I also scanned and emailed them multiple times. I began the termination process in JUNE, it is now OCTOBER and they’ve finally stopped billing me.
It is also important to note that in September, they bill customers their yearly initiation fee. I believe they made it difficult to terminate my membership so they could get this money. The actual gym and employees of the DeSoto gym are great, but the overall experience with ending a membership was awful.

I’ve been working out here for a couple years now. Great place right off the freeway, and very close to home. Gym closes at 11 p.m. on weekdays, and at 7 p.m. on weekends (hours change on holidays).
It’s a relatively new facility. The staff members are really nice and helpful. Compared to other gyms, there’s a lot of space here. The equipment is well-​taken care of. There’s a nice mix of gym goers, from newbies to hardcore veterans.
Cardio cinema gives it a nice touch; you don’t see many gyms that provide movies to watch on site. Very good selection of cardio machines and free weights to keep you busy. The express area lets you get in a total body workout in 30 minutes. Recently, the gym added a heavy bag (if you’re into boxing/​kickboxing).
The gym gets pretty hectic in the evening hours (6 – 9 p.m.), so it can be hard to find machines/​equipment during this time.
Overall, this is a great place to go if you’re looking for a good workout!

Promotion was going on for 20.00 initial start up fee and 22.00 a month following for a year. Signed up for it basically for the hours of operation working with my schedule of school and work.
The equipment is taken care of; weights, tele-​trainer, cardio cinema, cardio equipment, drinks 50% off, you can bring a guest free of charge as a gold member, and locker rooms for your convenience.
Only con: being able to get to the weights because some people utilize them religiously with no regard for everyone else that needs to use them. With that issue, just watch for peak times when everyone isn’t there and thats enough.
