Nappy Bliss

I’ve been a loyal client of Nappy Bliss Style salon for nearly 5 years. Since I’ve been going to see Keisha Ricks, the owner, I’ve been impressed at how committed she is to using the products I’m most comfortable with. She really educated and guided me as I was making decisions on whether to loc my hair or not (I finally did and love it!) I also love that she respects the time she sets for appointments. I’ve seldom had to wait or stay longer than scheduled. It gives me peace of mind. The superbonus, is that Keisha and I can talk about anything, the funny, deep, spiritual, cultural, etc. Makes for a fun and engaging visit!

I came here last year for a consultation with Keisha Ricks, the owner, and had a great talk but I was chicken and not yet ready to experiment with my hair.
Now, I’m a little more brave (just a little) and I knew this would be the salon for me. The salon is so welcoming, it literally feels like home. A variety of natural hair care products can be purchased here and the stylists are more than happy to guide you.
Keisha and Laurry are amazing! Both believe in hair education and are capable of creating any style you can imagine, of course as long as it works for you. They are honest and encourage everyone to embrace their hair. The hours and days are great. Not many salons are open on Mondays so that would be a plus for some people. They close early on Mondays and Fridays, open later into the evening Tuesday through Thursday, and closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
I have only met those two ladies so there could be other stylists there.
Massage services are available in their cozy spa area. It’s a great place to begin or continue your journey to loving your natural hair!
