This is my favorite Starbucks! It’s just a few blocks away from where we live. It’s always busy but I don’t mind because the atmosphere is so inviting and the music is good! The young men and women that work here are always nice to us. My 5year old loves to come and eat and have her coffee«coco» outside.

Love my Carmel Frappuccino with soy milk, extra drizzle, and whip. When I need to cut back, I am drinking Hibiscus Strawberry/lemonade sweet tea. I frequent Desoto, Cedar Hill, and downtown Main Street.

On our way to a tennis tournament, we stopped here for Starbucks… They forgot all our orders and we waited for over 30 minutes. Bad service. Never going here again. I would not recommend people to come here, if you are in a hurry to get your coffee.

Slowest Starbucks in the world. Unsanitary, reaching inside machine pushing beans with bare hands. Ghetto Starbucks, so not too surprised.

Come on folks. I stopped in mid afternoon after a shift recently. I was feeling the Christmas spirit so ordered coffee and a Cranberry bliss bar. What they gave me was a coffee and some sort of frozen chunk of ice. I am not sure why the need to pull out an ice pick and axe when there appeared to be available desserts waiting in the shelf stock, but there was a decent delay to get product I didn’t end up eating. I would have been happy if they had just said«hey, we dont have anything fresh enough» and refunded the purchase, but I guess they were trying to make their daily/weekly number instead of serving fresh. Maybe they just have a connection to my doctor and didn’t want me eating, but if your product doesn’t meet standard then don’t sell it.

Great Starbucks. Roomy and the folks know what they are doing when making a specialty order.

I’m doing this review in partial defense of this Starbucks and because I really don’t think this place is that bad. I went during lunch on a Wednesday and it wasn’t busy at all. I was first in line and got my beverage in under 3 minutes(there were people in front of me who had those super complex orders.) My Americano tasted like a Starbucks Americano. I paid with my Starbucks app and got double stars cuz it’s one of the bene’s right now. For those of you who frequent Starbucks and don’t use the app, definitely would recommend. Staff is nice and they do their job well, I’ve been several times and they have yet to mess my drink up so cheers to y’all. The place is nice enough, not dirty, and plenty of space to work. On a nice day there is space on the patio for you to gaze upon I-35 or the parking lot next door. The view may not be great but if you are hanging out at Starbucks for a view then gee you might be a little off.

Starbucks must have the best marketing team ever. Overpriced coffee that always tastes bitter and burnt. Bored, snobby servers. I’ll stick with Dunkin Donuts coffee, thanks, or just brew up some Café Bustelo.

There’s little redeeming about this location other than some of the baristas are fairly pleasant to interact with. I’ve been holding off on reviewing this place by giving it a few extra chances but they keep disappointing me. Going through the drive through is a no go at this location, there’s always a wait, half the time they don’t answer you when you pull up or someone is talking so you have to wait and on top of that they get your order wrong. The difference between soy and actual milk for someone who is lactose inolerant so a wrong drink order kind of sucks. Even more subtle differences like a sloppily made PSL is apparent because the drink taste ends up strange because the ratios are wrong. I try not to be picky about these sorts of things but it sucks when this location is consistently bad.

Rarely return to this location due to customer service and the look they give you when you’ve pointed out your drink was yet AGAIN made incorrect. Wish they would put another one in this area.

The guy was really nice and friendly and they gave me lots of caramel in my macchiato and also whole milk instead of 2% and they’re awesome!

This is one of my least favorite Starbucks. I commute from Dallas to Austin every week and this location is a convenient stop for me once I have fought through Dallas traffic heading South on I35. The past four times I have stopped here I have told myself ‘the drive thru service is terrible and next time I will go somewhere else’. Finally last week I waited until Waco for my coffee fix. I finally took my own advice. Starbucks drinks are generally the same based at each location. However my last beverage, a grande white chocolate mocha(light on the syrup) tasted like an ashtray. Every employee working the window seems like it is their first day. If it seems like their second day, they lose everything they were taught around customer service. One week I was handed my drink and the person just left without saying a word leaving the window open. I sat for 5 minutes wanting for my receipt when finally another employee noticed me there. Moral of the story — skip this location. Drive further down 35 either direction to avoid this place.

This is a convenient location with a drive through. Unfortunately service and drinks are hit and miss.

The guy at the drive thru was laughing & joking with a coworker for over a minute & a half before he took our order. We still had over 8 hrs to go before we got home & would have appreciated a little more customer service & efficiency. The drinks were fantastic as always. 11.28.14@2:30pm

I walked in right as they were closing tonight and they were super friendly! My Soy Chai’s were on point too! This location had a great feel to it! Will stop at this location on my way back home to Austin for sure!

This location is super busy. so if your willing to wait. However, for people who’s in hurry might want to think twice. Also, I think there music doesn’t play everytime I come up there. Maybe it’s broken.

SUPERBUSY. Saturday’s are not the time for a quick get in get out. I get the same drink 3 – 4 times a week, a green tea frap without syrup. This one tasted off… Maybe too much green tea powered… I was not impressed. We wait 10 minutes in line to order and 15 minutes for out drinks. As I stated earlier this place was super busy. They do have a drive though which is nice, the line was wrapped around the building so my husband and I went in. The wait was going to be bad no matter where we placed the order. My husband said his drink was good. I gave this place three stars because I think the employees were trying hard, it was a Saturday and they were slammed.

I asked the current barista for a cup holder, she didn’t acknowledge that she heard me… I quickly apologized, before she ended up bringing it, and said I meant the cup slip cover. Can I have a slip cover? She passively aggressively(unfortunately a sista) asked, «would you like anything else??» We all know what that tone of ask meant! … It was unprofessional. Guy was changing the garbage … I asked/suggested that someone sweep the floor… Because it looks gross… And as a customer, I didn’t want to sit in filth. He just said«yes.» Very ambiguous in response … As to whether he would actually do it. I left 20 minutes later … Still no one swept. WESHOULDEXPECTMORE!!!

The slowest Starbucks on this planet. I gave it a second chance… Won’t be back, I can’t wait for 20mins for an iced latte with no one else here but me! Crazy!

I stopped here twice. Once heading north on my trip, and a second time heading back south; home. I was hoping the second trip would redeem them. Let me preface this review by I’m sitting in my local-to-work Starbucks now, and they get stellar reviews for their stellar work and stellar service. I needed caffeine and I looked up on the map in the Starbucks App and found this one to be just 10 minutes north of where we were driving. They closed in 15 minutes, but I’ve worked food/beverage/hospitality — if you’re open, service should be excellent — there is no excuse. I ordered a venti caramel frappuccino in a trenta cup with 2 shots espresso. I can rattle it off that fast because it’s one of my two staple drinks. «I’m sorry, we can’t do that». I get this drink 2−3x a week in San Antonio. Maybe the store’s policy is to not do it. Maybe it’s to not care, because he certainly didn’t. If you *don’t* get the drink in a trenta cup, or get the leftover in a second cup, you lose out on the volume displaced by the 2 extra shots you’re paying for. They just chuck it in the bin or down the drain. I was pissed. I cancelled the shots and got it plain. They weren’t terribly speedy, but it was 15 minutes to close and they only had 2 people there. So I forgave that. But they weren’t friendly on my departure. Moving on to my second experience, I was hoping the evening guy was just a fluke and they needed a second shot. Walked in early-afternoon and they had a full staff but were not terribly busy. Observed that only a couple employees seemed to know locals and to know how to accurately do things on the register. I rattled off my drink again hoping that THIS time they’d do it. They had to double check. They weren’t sure if they could. They checked — sure enough — no go. They at least offered to put the leftover in a second cup this time. But once again; not terribly friendly. Also not very speedy for how staffed they were. Not thrilled. And maybe it’s a little thing, but they don’t even bother to hand you a straw or offer you a drink carrier if you have multiple drinks. Being in customer service — it’s the little things that make the difference, that keep my customers coming back. Maybe it really *is* against policy for them to do it? So I checked with the store I frequent. I’m there enough to get welcomed by name and rarely have to tell my drink because they pay attention. It also happens to be a training store so they really HAVE to know the rules. I spoke with the manager. No. They don’t have to offer nor are they required to put it in that cup. It’s not technically an offer. But it won’t hurt their inventory(I’d have happily paid $ 0.25 for the larger cup rather than put 2 in the next gas station garbage i drove by). Essentially it’s bad customer service. If it’s not illegal, immoral, unethical, going to cost… do it. it’s worth the impression. I won’t be back to that store though. I’ll just have to find a different one on my route.
