Very friendly and helpful staff… was very impressed. Not usually the case at restaurants in Destin

This was my first visit to Lenny’s. I had bought a coupon booklet to help local schools. I had no problem using the coupon and they where very efficient. I enjoyed 2 sandwiches, hot Italian and Philly. Will be back.

Great subs and options for kids and adults. Love the people that work there too. Gotta get it Lenny’s way too! Must try for Destin and beats subway hands down!

Good subs for a good value. We split a 15″ and it was only $ 11. It’s a few steps above Subway. Not too messy, good amount of stuff inside, and the bread was good. We were in and out quickly. I’d go back.

I’ll start off by saying that I’m a big fan of Lenny’s, but this location has killed my love. Im a local and when I first moved here years ago the place was pretty good. Over the past six or seven months the place has gone down hill. Every time I order a sandwich the order is completely wrong. Today for instance I ordered a chicken Philly and when I got home and unwrapped it I found a regular Philly. Not to mention when I used a coupon the kid at the register made a snide remark, I assume this must have inconvenienced him. This is the first time I’ve used a coupon here in years of giving them my money and I was made to feel like a bother. This is the first review I’ve ever written in my life, but I felt it needed to be done so maybe they will fix these issues for others. I say others because I will not return here. Every time I’ve earned a free sub with there rewards program they seemed angry about giving me the sandwich. There are more things I could go on about, but this is to long already. So I suppose I’ll have to visit Lenny’s when in other locations because I do believe they sell a good product. If these guys want to see how Lenny’s is run they should take some training from the store in Mobile, Al. Those guys do it right.

I love this place. I used to work just a few doors down and I’d eat there at least once a week. They’re so friendly and everything is fresh and delicious.

Hands down much better than Subway, Jimmy Johns, Planet Sub or any other sub shop I’ve visited. I ordered the Veggie and my husband ordered Philly steak. The sandwiches are huge and we should have shared. The Hot pepper relish was the one single ingrediant that put these sandwiches over the top in my opinion. I am guessing this is a Florida chain… I want one in KC!

My very first Lenny’s experience started at this location. Geoff B. introduced me to it about 2 years ago. Sorry, I’m just now finally getting around to reviewing it. Since my first visit, I’ve eaten at various Lenny’s locations scattered over this beautiful land. From the mountains, to the prairies, to the oceans white with foam, I must say this Lenny’s is the best. I must echo Geoff B’s sentiments«Great sandwich at a fair price. Great chip selection. The Coke tastes like no other coke I’ve ever tasted…» I witnessed first hand the employees acknowledge Geoff B. by his first name. They didn’t know my name, but they did address me as Sir. It was nice for once to be called Sir without having«you’re making a scene» tagged along with it. I didn’t notice any younger staff members that were in a bad mood, but the girls were cute. I meant to ask one out on a date for St. Patrick’s day, but I chickened out. Maybe next year… Do yourself a favor, go to Lenny’s and get yourself some hot relish. You won’t regret it! Sidenote: the Lenny’s twitter account is very friendly as well. They acknowledge you and tell you about Social Wednesday deals. Follow them at @LennysSubs –TheB33rBaron

When it comes to a sub shops in the Destin/Fort Walton Beach area, Lenny’s is in a class of its own. Great sandwich at a fair price. Great chip selection. The Coke tastes like no other coke I’ve ever tasted. They also have pretty good cookies, if you like cookies. Always a positive experience here. Staff routinely welcomes customers on a first-name basis. That’s rare these days and does not go unnoticed. One time they put onions on my sandwich when I requested no onions. They quickly made me a whole new sandwich. A whole new sandwich! Now, that’s just great service! There are some younger staff members that always seem to be in a bad mood. But hey, who amongst us doesn’t have a bad day every now and then. Update: The younger staff members are no longer in a bad mood and haven’t been the last 2 or 3 months I’ve been there! Everyone is extremely pleasant and that is passed on to the customer. Do yourself a favor, go to Lenny’s and get yourself some hot relish. You won’t regret it.

I came in for lunch today, and ended up getting the Philly since there is a neon sign for it, I figured it’s something they are proud of or people really like. It wasn’t bad, but definitely can’t be put up against a real Philly. The meat was pretty flavorless, and didn’t have the bite that a good Philly should have. The hot peppers on it weren’t my favorite either. The service was pretty good, but I saw a sandwich maker rub his face then put on gloves to make a sandwich. Yes he put on gloves, but he put those gloves on with dirty hands, making the gloves dirty as well. I am not easily grossed out, so ate my food, but I cam see it being a big turn off for anyone. I might stop back, but am not trying to get there anytime soon.

I wish they would open a shop in Honolulu! I was so disappointed that they were closed on the only day I could go during my last visit. The peppered cheese steak is awesome and I can’t find a sandwich shop anywhere that comes close.

Glad I can be the first to review Lenny’s! I really like this place because of three things: chicken philly cheese subs, hot pepper relish, and delivery(but they only deliver *some* of the time). I’ve had other subs on their menu. Every one I had was great(although, avoid bacon as it has never been crisp — always limp and fatty). But I keep coming back for their phillys and relish. They are known primarily for their philly cheese steak subs, but they also have a chicken version that is superb. Its sliced chicken too, not chunk. If you live here, or wherever there is a location, they offer a card were every order earns points towards a free sub. Good little program. They are a chain. But not that large of one. We keep a jar of their hot pepper relish in our fridge at all times. Great on any kind of sandwich and burgers. Dont get me wrong, its just a sub shop, but its one of the best here.
