Rotolo’s

What a great place to eat! We visited Rotolo’s while on vacation and would definitely go back again! The service was great. Our server was very friendly and came back to check on us several times throughout our meal. And the food… Oh my goodness, we loved the pizza! We ordered the Sweep The Floor pizza, which is topped with pepperoni, bacon, and a couple different types of cheese and the pizza was SO good! Very tasty, full of flavor, so yummy! We also ordered breadsticks and the kids downed them quickly. I would recommend this place over any chain pizza restaurant. I wish we lived closer to one!

Pizza took a long time even though they weren’t busy. I guess it takes that long to burn the pizza — which is what happened. Dough is thin crust style. Prices are expensive for what it is. Pizza quality is very average at best.
I would recommend Mellow Mushroom across the road — better atmosphere and much better pizza.

I was impressed with my small pizza and salad though my sister and her boyfriend may beg to differ. I had a small garden salad which was actually pretty big for a small. Their house vinaigrette dressing is really good and not terribly overpowering like some vinaigrette dressings can be. I also enjoyed the Sicilian pizza with sun dried tomatoes and artichokes. That was an olive oil and garlic based pizza which I am happy I tried because the small cup of their red gravy marinara I sampled was not something my palate enjoyed as it had a bit of a bite and odd after taste. My sister had some kind of chicken pizza that was «really kind of yucky» and her boyfriend had the Angry Pig calzone, which was good but he wasn’t a fan of the sauce either. I enjoyed my meal and if I were ever near a Rotolos again I would probably try another za, sans the marinara. I also liked the thickness of the crust which is hand tossed but they can also do a thin crust if that is more your style. There is a small bar area and plenty of regular dining as well. Service with a smile here! Also, you can keep your beverage cup as a souvenir!

We called in an order for one of our nights at the condo and we were most pleased! I am wishing I had tried the muffaletta pizza… maybe next time! The sweep the floor pizza was outstanding, we did thin crust. I didn’t go inside, but my hubs picked it up and he got to order a beer while he waited for the order. No complaints from him on that.

Love the four cheese pizza!

Have ordered take out a few times and it’s very good. Try out the muffaletta pizza. This place is a favorite in Louisiana and should do pretty well here.
