I enjoy the food real good service when I order take out and a friendly place to sit down and eat. The wait staff are very friendly and talkative they treat you like they know you personally. I love to eat in places like that.

The hubby and I order breakfast from this place almost EVERY Saturday. I get a western omelet and he gets the big breakfast. We are able to both get full as well as feed our stowaway grand babies. $ 12 bucks well spent.

Tried this coney a few times and I’m left with mixed feelings. Let me start by saying the food itself was awesome every time. No complaints what so ever about the taste or quality. You can dine in but I’ve only done carryouts. The last time the girl on the phone was nice and she took the order and repeated it and told me 5 min. It took my husband longer then 5 min to get there and it wasn’t done. Not a huge deal but she didn’t have the order straight and he had to tell her what the order was and then wait. Defeated the purpose of calling in. After all that he gets home and his food was still wrong. Mine was right. It all tasted good but it’s frustrating when after having to reordering it was still wrong. I’ll eat there again but just double check my order before I leave.

Been coming here since I was a child. The combos and specials are great plus they have a drive thru. Food is amazing!

This is THEBESTCONEYISLANDEVER! By a long shot. I’m not surprised that no one else has reviewed this place yet, it is in a rougher neighbor hood, but hey if you arn’t afraid of the hood then you need to check this place out. Menu is unbelievable, you get the typical coney stuff plus great deals on wing dings, huge corned beef sandwiches, everything is so good from here. It’s cheap and you get huge portions, PLUS breakfast anytime you want it and 24⁄7 drive through. Try it out and you wont regret it.

My husband and I love this place. I used to go to this coney island all the time when I first moved on the eastside of Detroit while in high school and all through my undergrad(really helped me make it through getting my bachelor’s degree with late night studying and eating). Now, my husband and I live in Chicago and come back to Detroit on occasions to visit family. This is the only coney island that we like to go when we come to the city. Our parents live in the suburbs but those coney islands are garbage out there and they always are such misers(have to pay for cheese, will only give you a tablespoon of chicken for your salad or gyro, make you pay for condiments??? Straight ludicrousness). But, this coney island always hooks us up(and I’m sure every customer, although we’d like to feel we are special). Plus, the staff is super nice. I’m not trying to talk bad about my home city, but usually when we go to every other restaurant in Detroit, we have to deal with really rude, ignorant, and stank acting staff. So, this place is refreshing in that aspect. There’s only one«so-called» Coney Island on the Northside of Chicago and that restaurant just opened about 2 years ago. Trust me, it is not like a Detroit Coney Island — it’s an embarassment and should not have used the«coney island» trademark name. But, enough of venting. I’m so glad we have a coney island that we can go to when we come to Detroit and enjoy the food at a reasonable price without being talked nasty to by some rat. :)
