Detroit Sound Station

If u don’t wanna get ripped off and want whatever installed right then look no further they will get u right.

I thought I was doing myself a favour not doing the work myself and letting the «professionals» at Detroit Sound Station work on my car.
I felt the owner to be a over confident/​cocky car audio guru. Which to me is not all that bad when you are looking for someone who will do it right. Little did I know its just a bunch of ignorant idiots throwing whatever speaker they had readily available.
I needed: 2 – 3.5″ speakers (he claimed that he had some available)
4−6×9 2 way 2ohm speakers (for my «specific» vehicle)
Half way thru the install; the owner says «I dont have any 3.5″ speakers but I can install these 3.5″ off my motorcycle mirror.» Seeing as I didnt really have a choice I agreed figuring that used weathered speakers were the least of my problems. 10 mins down the road my airbag light comes on due to my air bag wires being damaged when removing trim panels.(Luckily my dealership fixed it under warranty.)
The next morning the speakers hardly have any sound coming from them. Later I found out they installed 3-​way speakers which was the cause of this. I have already given up at this point so I order new PROPER speakers and when I go to replace them myself I discover shitty 22gauge speaker wire twisted together and taped up. NO solder, no shrink wrap, and the cheapest speaker cable available.
I called in hopes to get some money refunded since I pretty much threw 350 dollars out the door. At first he was a little understanding while still holding his temper in. After a good 10 mins on the phone with him he burst out swearing every word you can think of, saying Im from Canada whatcha gon do?!
Well here is what Im doing.
Save your hard earned money, Spend that extra 80 dollars extra and get it PROFESSIONALLY installed. Every car is different; if you LOVE your car please dont take it here. I wouldnt even bring my car back to have them fix it. Nuhh uhhh
On the other hand if you are throwing some cheap speakers in your moms crapbox Im sure these guys might get it right.

Had my navigation system and h.i.d lighting installed on my 2010 honda for a great price. Staff was polite and respectful. They also installed a rear view camera free of charge! Thanks to the neighborhood sound station!
