Évaluation du lieu : 5 Detroit, MI
A place in the city that is far removed from the advancements and investments in Downtown Detroit movement. With that being said, Don Bosco succeeds at providing a space for children to have safe, fun activities to do after school. The after school program at Don Bosco provides basketball, gardening, scouting, photography, tutoring, z speed, pottery, modeling and so many more programs for youth. It is amazing how this little known gem plays such a major roll for children. Funded my grants and thankfully Skillman Foundation supports Don Bosco. It is home to support systems such as Developing K.I.D.S. that provides support for grieving families and builds children. There is a fitness room. It is not modern, but puts free access to gym equipment to get/stay healthy. Investing in our youth now is the key to the future. Don Bosco is a space that allows children to find a space to grow and stay out of trouble in the process. It is like family at Don Bosco. They provide programming for adults also. Most classes for kids/adults are free and some carry a low cost associated with it. I am thankful for Don Bosco and the service that it provides for the families in Cody-Rouge.
