Local Tow – Towing in Detroit

What a scam!!! I needed a jump start for my battery. I found this very professional website and called. The tow truck arrived from a hub 30 minutes away from my house. Proceeded to charge me $ 100 and an extra $ 15 for using a credit card. The going rate for this service is $ 40.00
I got scammed. The fancy website is a front– they are really a big dispatch company for little towing companies all over the area and take no responsibility for price gouging and poor service. I was charged extra for the service call for them to come so far– when I called the company I asked if they serviced Huntington woods and they said yes. Did not know they sent a truck from down town Detroit.
Learned my lesson– an expensive one. Beware of this website!!!
