I made sure to check the hours before we went, and the place was supposed to be open until 9 p.m. Indeed, the hours on the door reflected that as well. We went inside and after waiting for about 5 minutes without being acknowledged or having any signage indicating what we were supposed to be doing, a server came up and asked if we wanted carry-out or were waiting for pick-up. I replied that we were there to dine. She told us they were not doing dine-in after 7:00 p.m. because they were closing at 8 p.m. It was 7:05 p.m. Needless to say, we left without patronizing them. As a resident of the City of Detroit, I can say this is the sort of thing that gives customer service in the city a bad name, and rightfully so at times. Businesses in the city need to go the extra mile to encourage people to patronize them, not do the opposite! My Sisters & Me clearly did not care for our business, so I will be sure not to trouble them with it. Unfortunately I think they will learn the hard way and we maybe left with yet another vacant building if they keep it up.
