Oriental Nails

I visited Oriental Nails yesterday. The bars on the windows gave me pause, but I just brushed it off as a safety precaution of living in Detroit. The pros and cons are as follows:
Pros: I received fast service. I really liked the spa treatment that is given for my pedicure (Months of dead skin scrapped away. That sounds gross, but it’s needed.) The ladies were really nice.
Cons: If I hadn’t come when I did, the ladies that were waiting after me, were waiting for a while. The shellac treatment I received on my nails have started chipping already. When the lady went to wipe off my finished shellac nails with the alcohol, some of the paint came off. If I hadn’t said anything I don’t think she would have redid it. Also, there is $ 1 charge if you use your credit/​debit card. And they charge you extra to remove a previous shellac and if you want a manicure with your shellac. I’m not used to this. I usually get a manicure with my shellac at no additional charge.
Unfortunately, I will have to try another nail salon.
