The most AMAZING popsicles and with many delicious flavors to choose from!!! The booze pops are one of the best creations known to man. It’s very difficulty to choose just one popsicle, so if you’re ever near the Pop Shop Cart it’s ok to have 2 – 3 popsicles in one day because the ingredients are fresh and light!!!

AMAZING pops! They are by far the best popsicles we’ve ever eaten. The ingredients are always fresh and their flavor combinations are always outstanding! We had The Detroit Pop Shop after our wedding ceremony, and they were hands down the 2nd best part of the day(the best part was getting married!). Everyone enjoyed all the flavors we had, my favorite was Vernors Bourbon Float! Bryan & Hildie(the owners) are also the nicest people, who always greet everyone with smiles! They make driving to Eastern Market on Sundays worth the trip from South Rockwood!

Detroit Pop Shop is great! They have season flavours in great taste combinations. They always have a great mix of fruity, sweeter ones for the kids(e.g. red pop, oreo, nutella), and great 21+ boozy pops for the older people to enjoy. Mmmmm booze. Hildie and Bryan are always great to chat with, and their pops are top notch!

Tried the John Daly(21+), and blackberry lemonade. Great on a hot day at Eastern Market. Paid three and four dollars. The pops itself were kinda small, coulda ate three. Minimal ingredients, big flavor and could taste the alcohol.

Detroit pop shop does popsicles right! That would be my hope since that’s what they’re all about but now after finally trying one, I can attest to it. Their popsicles bring regular store bought popsicles to shame. I don’t think I can ever go back now. We had an employee celebration at work this past week since Henry Ford Health System was celebrating their centennial and Detroit pop shop was there handing out free popsicles. Yeah! Normally they’re $ 3. They had a sugar free one available but I opted for the one with sugar. I believe it was blueberry raspberry and it was delicious! It was super flavorful, not overly sweet, and perfect for a hot summer night out. They are smaller than your average popsicle which is a bummer. However, you can tell they’re quality. I will definitely keep an eye out for them next time I’m at Eastern Market or I might have to stop by Parker Street Market(great little market that sells only Michigan made food/drinks!) in the West Village to try some of their other flavors. Hello watermelon basil? I’ve got my sights on you.

Whether I’m at the Rust Belt or Eastern Market, if I see the Detroit Pop Shop, I stop and get a popsicle. Usually one with booze in it. Actuall, always one with booze in it. The tequila sunrise has a nice kick and real watermelon flavor in other varieties including with basil or vodka is always refreshing. The owner is always a joy to talk to when purchasing my pop. See you soon Detroit Pop Shop!

Their ice pops are beyond phenomenal. I’m so impressed with the interesting flavor combinations and how often they mix up their selection to keep it exciting. I loved watermelon basil, my kids love the oreo one(with a whole oreo in it!) I can’t wait til next summer!

I first learned of Detroit Pop Shop from Instagram. They have a schedule of locations posted on their Instagram(Rust Belt Market, Northwest Detroit Farmers Market, Eastern Market, etc.) that changes week to week. I saw that they would be at Parker Street Market and decided to go after work. I tried the watermelon basil and boozy banana foster with rum. The watermelon basil was so refreshing and the banana foster was very decadent! I’ve tried the strawberry basil, cookies and cream, strawberry banana, grapefruit habanero, pineapple shrub, and I feel like I’m forgetting other flavors. ALL delicious! The grapefruit habanero sounds like a weird combo but it actually works.
