Fresh Ideas Market is a specialty foods shop that sells prepared foods, and locally sourced baked goods, fresh produce and gourmet ice cream. Fresh Ideas Market is an offshoot of the adjacent Aneu Bistro and is located in what was previously Yang’s Farmer’s Market. While some of the prepared foods come from Aneu’s kitchen, the baked goods and other products are from other local businesses. Primarily geared toward the Main Line hostess set, Fresh Ideas is a clean, modern shop to grab a snack or a place to simplify entertaining by have someone else do all or part of the cooking. Prices are high, but the quality is better than you’ll find at many other such places. For example, $ 8 for a pint of locally made organic salted caramel ice cream. Look carefully because the foods here are priced and sold by the ¼ lb., which brings some non-meat items to as high as $ 18 per lb. or more. Thus Fresh Ideas is convenience at a truly premium price.
