A Child’s Place

I want to say that I have been with ACP in Devon since April 2015. It has been a delight to work with all of the staff as well as the owner. We strive to offer parents the peace of mind that they need to have when leaving their little ones each day. We also offer a very competitive learning environment for all children in our program. Our teacher’s provide age appropriate care and instruction to the children. We also offer a Stretch and Grow class, Music Class, and Spanish Class on a regular basis. The setting of our program offers a nod to the building’s history while having the updated amenities needed to run a quality program. The setting also allows the students a large amount of outdoor green space to run around and enjoy nature walks. We are excited for the beginning of a new school year of growing and learning together!

I love all the aids here! They are a wonderful asset to this company (it’s a chain called tot time). They care about the children as if they are their own. I love Miss Fran and Miss Dana in the infant classroom. They calmed all my new mom fears when dropping my 6 month old off for daycare. They are pros! As for management and the directors, they are a mess. In the year plus we were there, they had 5 directors!!! I could never get anyone on the phone when I called to check in or call to get billing issues resolved. they set weird rules like bring in new Tylenol every 6 months but they never gave it to my son when he was teething or enforced it because the aids had to ask the director for it which was pointless. The 2 year olds slept on the floor which I was not happy about. I got frustrated when they moved my son to the next age group up without telling me so I went to get him and didn’t know where he was (again bad management not the aids). They should have people that help the care takers because their aids are really amazing! The place had great security! the rooms were clean but too small. The kids have 2 amazing outdoor areas for play with great toys and they make sure the kids get ample outdoor time when the weather was nice. You supply your own food, snacks, bottles, diapers, wipes etc and suntan lotion. There’s very little parking for parents picking up and dropping off so that was frustrating.
