This place drew me in like a moth to a flame! Devoid of any cheesy shells or flip-flop knickknacks, this shop looked like how I would live if I had a place at the beach. Lots of white, gray, pale blue, silver. The furniture was a little shabby chic, but there was a crisp newness about a lot of the pieces. The disparity in the pricing of the pieces was odd, but at least it’s not all up there. For instance, I saw a sideboard with no fixtures priced roughly at $ 3,500, while I saw a salt-air worn wooden trunk refinished in my favorite shade of blue for a mere $ 58. They carry Tokyomilk soaps and perfumes – not super easy to find in brick-and-mortars – as well as some French milled soaps, hand creams(one of which I got suckered into buying) and candles. I saw a bed frame, lots of pillows, old sinks, sofa tables, a few chairs and a couch or two. I met the owners: they were friendly but they were more interested in their fries from Arena’s than me(after dining at Arena’s the next day I could empathize). Coco and Co. vaguely reminded me of the home section at Anthropologie, what with the odd book. lotion or cute clothing item scattered around, but much more modernized, gender-neutral and fairly priced. I’ll always dip in when i’m in RB.
