Mom died and she had a prepaid cremation plan. The hospice directed me to G-​R Funeral Home in Lansing. They worked with brother and me to get a lovely container for mom’s ashes. They never pushed us to buy anything we didn’t want or need. They accepted the prepaid plan, laid out everything very clearly, provided documents, eased brother’s concerns about logistics, and were professional and pleasant to work with. Everything was ready when they said it would be. Communication was excellent.
The facility is lovely. Tastefully decorated. The staff are compassionate, kind, and friendly. Since I have never had a service in the building, I can’t comment on their services in that mien, only to say that when I was there, they had six (6!) services scheduled for one day, and everything seemed to be running like clockwork.
