Waste. of. my. time! I made an appointment last week for today. They were very friendly over the phone. I even talked to the stylist after speaking to the receptionist(or someone else?) and she answered my specific questions and asked me what I was looking for. It felt like a great fit and I was very excited! After seeing the same stylist at another salon for the last 2 years, changing to another salon and stylist was a big step! I showed up to the appointment at my scheduled time, a couple of minutes early and a stylist staff meeting was being conducted. My appointment was at 11:30am. Don’t tell me to arrive 5 minutes early and then conduct a staff meeting until 11:40am. Finally, at 11:45 the manager came up to tell me that my appointment wasn’t showing up in the books. Somehow a mistake was a made which was unfortunate, but I don’t have time to sit around and wait 45 minutes until the next appointment. If you decide to go here, just make sure your appointment was actually scheduled and don’t bother showing up early because you’ll probably end up being the one waiting around. They won’t be getting my business.

Lindsay A. was awesome and did an incredible job trimming my hair. I am VERY particular about my haircuts and she listened with open ears and took my feedback and requests with a smile on her face. Thank you so much, I will be back in a few months! :-)

I’ve been going to Lonna for 5 years and she always does a great job. I’ve had eyebrows and nails done as well. Always pleased with the services. Everyone else’s hair always looks great too. Would highly recommend the services here!

This place is amazing! I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve seen many stylists here and they’ve all been great!

I started going to Joseph and Anthony about two years ago and was generally pleased with the service(at the time, I had a shorter angled bob). My stylist, Lisa, never went as «bold» with the angled bob as I wanted her to, but I’ve found that’s the case at other salons, too. The last time I went, though, I did end up with a really strange layer on one side of my hair and had to have it redone at another salon(that stylist referred to it as a «hole»…). Not sure what happened that time. I returned to the salon this past week to see a different stylist, and was very discouraged by the experience. The final haircut was just okay, although nothing like what I’d asked for. I wanted a cut that would enhance the natural wave in my hair, and she tried to send me home looking like I’d been caught in a rainstorm(half wet, scraggly). I finally had to explain that I wanted to «look and feel good when I leave the salon.» Her response repeatedly was«well, you know, hair doesn’t always look right the day you get it cut.» She blew out my hair and made it look decent, and I was glad to get out of there. When I got home, I realized that the long ends in front weren’t even — probably about two inches’ difference. I won’t go back. I realize it was probably her last appointment of the day, but no one wants to pay $ 40 to feel like an inconvenience.

I wasn’t expecting a lot from a place in the mall, but at their prices, they really should have been better. They were the only place in the area that did redken color, so I went there, however, I was pretty disappointed. Color, no cut or blow-out, cost well over $ 100 and that wasn’t even from a licensed colorist. My stylist had only been doing hair for about 2 years and she stopped several times to make fun of people walking in the mall outside of the window. She also chatted with her boyfriend on the phone and in person several times during my visit. The whole experience took over 3 hours when it should have been no more than an hour and a half.
