I took our mini van to Haas for the 2^nd time in 3 years for the same problem; 1^st time it was an easy fix and inexpensive and this time again an easy fix! these people know their stuff, are honest and professional and you can trust they will only do what is necessary to your vehicle and charge you a fair and reasonable price. Jay at Japanese Auto (Ann Arbor) referred me to this shop when he noticed a few transmission codes came up on my car. Even though Jay told me Haas Trans is the only transmission shop he trusts in the AA/​Dexter area, I still called around AA and asked other places what they thought of the codes that showed up (Jay had written them down for me)…a few of them told me it’d cost lots and lots of money to get me a new part or whatever! One even told me he could rerun the codes for $ 100!
When I took it into Haas, they noted that the codes meant it’s a computer issue, then reset the CP-​something and did a few more things for $ 45! Like most honest places, they don’t charge to run the codes for you. Even though it’s about 15 minutes from AA, I’m taking my car to Dexter for any transmission issues.
