4.5 stars– the only thing missing: I expect a little better service. I love this place! Been here 10+ times. Very authentic Paki/Indian food. My family comes here all the time. I love the naan, chicken tikka masala, biryani, the seekh kabab, chicken tikka. My faves tho are: Haleem and Nihari. Mmmm my mouth is watering as we speak.

Can only review the take out as I’ve never been to the restaurant. Based on the food alone I’m definitely a fan. Garlic naan was amazing, so was the chicken tikka masala, the portions are big and the service was nice and speedy. I will be coming here again, and again.

Great food, the service was very fast and diligent. The lamb chops were the best I have ever had, a must to try, The chicken was well cooked and I could tell it was fresh. The location is a bit hidden but once you find it, well you will find out its a hidden jem!

my office ordered takeout from Aashiana and i totally fell in love with their garlic naan and chicken tikka masala! the chicken tikka masala was a tad too spicy for my taste buds however it was still very good with the pilaf. i will definitely be suggesting this place for lunch in the future :)

I drove by here about a month or two ago and it looks to have burned down. Funny, I don’t remember any of the dishes to have been all that fiery hot.

$ 7.99 lunch buffet AYCE was cheaper than any entrees on the menu located in the corner of a business-like mini plaza We came in and told the guy in the button up and tie that we had a party of 2. the guy looks at me… then smiles and replies«sure come in! I don’t work here but I won’t mind taking the money!» my bad. the workers were nowhere to be seen for at least 5 minutes and there were only two other business guys there. Get there EARLY if you’re going to get the buffet because it’s fresh! here’s the line up: _Saffron Rice: not as fluffy as I like it but still tasty _Lamb Curry: I don’t like lamb _Chicken Korma: The chicken was tender but the flavor was spicy and a little odd… to many spices _Chef Special Chicken: minced chicken with Garbanzo beans in special house spices… this was my favorite! great yellow-curry flavor and kind of spicy _Bhartha: Eggplant with tomatoes and onions… it wasn’t too special but not horrible. I wouldn’t order it as an entrée though _Tandoori Chicken!: THis was another favorite! great flavor, juicy _house salad with an herb dressing _Kheer: rice pudding with pistachios… very tasty =] it was the best rice pudding i’ve had at an indian place I think they usually give complimentary Naan but we asked for an order of Garlic Naan and they waiter said«it’s coming out»…we got FREEGARLICNAAN(usually $ 2)…it DIDN“T LIVEUPTOITSHYPE. yeah it had garlic and herbs on top but the flavor was pretty subtle and I like my naan a little thinner so it’s toasty on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. this was just warm and chewy. Anarkali in WeHo has better naan. overall I think the Buffet deal is very worth it if you come EARLY! bear in mind: it’s VERYFILLING! and you come out with a new perfume =P

Went here for the second time the other night. This food is the best when you are sick and need to clean out your sinuses. The first time I went here everything was yummy, my favorites were the naan and the dal. Second time I went, everything was still yummy, but, I found a hair, a long one, in my samosa. I should have complained but I didn’t. I was expecting my fiancé to say something, especially since he is a chef, but he shrugged his shoulders and said«.it happens.» Ok, lets see how he feels when he gets a hair in his food. It’s something I really can’t stand, however, I was felling miserable that night, so I just concentrated on the good parts of dinner. Again, the naan and the dal were great, and the spinach paneer was really good, as long as you watch out for the chilies. So I won’t penalize this place for a hair, but it’s really great food, decently priced, and close enough to my house to frequent.,

for dinner i thought everything was delicious. GREAT naan yummy curry. juicy tandoori chicken! and for great prices. best place i’ve been for indian food the only thing that brought them down to a three was the LUNCHBUFFETWASSOOOOOOOOODISSAPOINTING. the food has been sitting there for a while, there is small selection. the meat is dry. even when trays were runing low. they wouldnt bring out new food unless you asked because they hoped they wouldnt have to cook any more. definately only go for dinner so you can order from the menu

I just found out a month ago that an Indian(Pakistani?) lunch buffet actually existed this close to my house. Naturally this find made me very enthusiastic about this restaurant already. I took a friend there, they had the standard fare, and you know what, I left filled and he really liked it.(Coulda been though that it was his first time having Indian this close to Rowland Heights, after all…) What I liked: Accessible Indian food for the local vicinity. Great parking(as is most of the area). Cheap($ 8.99?) Presence of other Indians around, implying it must be somewhat authentic. Basic selection: naan, basmati rice, chicken tandoori, as well as about 9 other dishes. What could’ve been better on that day(compared to other Indian buffets in Southern California for the same price): More variety, fresher food, not-so-dry rice, a cleaner table, less stuffy climate, and more attentive service. Overall, I want this place to get better so I can continue to bring people and enjoy this cuisine. I’ll put it to you this way: I’ll probably come back here within the next few months, but if another restaurant in the genre opens up in the same area I would not hesitate to try it out. But please come try this place for yourself.

i went with some co-workers for an hour lunchtime, but it became a two hour affair. my friend moe took us to this place. the restaurant is clean and the food is awesome. if you go lunchtime you’ll most likely get the buffet. my friend ordered a lamb dish on the side and boy was it spicy. sorry don’t remember the names of the dishes, it doesn’t really matter cause they’re all good. im sure there are alot more dishes that i need to try there, i’ll post an update next time i go back.

Since many of my co-workers are of South Asian origin, we did an after-work feast here for about a dozen people. It’s your typical SoCal mini-strip-mall atmosphere, oddly decorated with faux columns and pastel murals that look suspiciously like scenes of northern Italy, but with a huge plasma TV screen making up for the geographic inconsistency by blasting Pakistani news & music. This is not a place for vegetarians or those who don’t appreciate five-alarm chili. Tandoori-style and stew-style chicken and lamb dishes predominated, accompanied by a perspiration-inducing daal, palak paneer, and hot, crispy naan(garlic, butter, and plain.) The mango lassi was good, not too sweet, but was too filling on top of the carnivore extravaganza. We ordered big pitchers of buttermilk, to which you are apparently supposed to add salt & pepper, and I thought this was an excellent antidote to the spice. The service was indifferent, even though my teammates ordered in Hindi and we ordered a couple hundred bucks’ worth of food, but I’m willing to write that off to my North American cultural expectations. All in all, this white boy found it an authentic and enjoyable experience.
