Dacor

With all the appliances to buy, I was so hopeful that Dacor would be a wonderful appliance. The appliance itself proved to be more than I bargained for so I had to learn how to cook with a convection oven. The huge problem is that my main circuit board malfunctioned just out of warranty and I purchased this in 2011. So I purchased a new one directly from Dacor. Well, getting a Dacor «authorized dealer» isn’t so easy. But the worst part is that I received yet another faulty key pad. I called back the repair guy (another charge) and it didn’t work. It took me 4 calls to Dacor to get through. They are sending another board and I’ll post what happens. I never, ever had a problem with a wall range, especially this new. I can say that when I had problems with my Liebeherr refrigerator, they never charged me. Dacor isn’t in the same category. I recommend you buy a different brand. They did sell me the new part at $ 84.00, but my experience with high end appliances is that they help you and send you the parts. Not the case for Dacor. Anyone want to buy my wall convection oven?
