If I could give this place zero stars, I would. These people are open to steal money from people who love their pets! Last night, my dog had a 2 cm laceration to his skin and they were going to charge my husband $ 948 to give him anesthesia, get labs and suture him up. Thank goodness I am in he medical field and once I got home I was able to stitch it up without any problem! Obviously, not everyone has this ability and thats why this clinic «preys» on those in need of care of their beloved pets!!! Awful!

Came here cause our smallest cat caught an upper respiratory infection from the new kitten we got. We already took the kitten to another vet and she was treated for it. But our other cat ended up catching and and was dehydrated so we took her here cause no one else is opened on a sunday.
After waiting for 40 minutes, we finally got to see the vet. He was really rough with our cat. And he wouldn’t listen to us. We know she only has the uri, their indoor cats so it isn’t like she caught something just randomly. Then he tried to charge us over 1000 $ to x-​ray her for blockage that she didnt have, get her tested for feline aids which she doesn’t have, a 300 $ shot, and to keep her over night.
Then they made us wait over 95 minutes just to give our cat fluids.
That was just ridiculous. We are never coming here again.

Last night we had to put our beloved dog Lincoln down. After a few months with congestive heart failure the decision was made late last night. Since our vet office was closed I called East Valley and when I explained the situation the girl on the phone was very compassionate and letting me know that I can take him in when I was ready.
When we went into the office they took us into a room right a way there was no waiting in the lobby which was pretty full. They took us to a room with a sofa and we were allowed to spend more time with Lincoln. When it was time Dr. LeFave came in she was so caring of our feelings and so compassionate towards the needs of our beloved family member she explained everything to us and allowed us to hold him in our arms while he was being injected. This brought us so much joy that our Lincoln didn’t have to have his last moments on a cold metal table his last breaths were in the arms of the people who loved him through out his 15 years of life.
After we left the room all staff members kept telling us they were sorry for our loss. The staff and most of all the doctor was so compassionate and caring. THANK YOU ALL for your warm, compassionate and caring attitudes during such a difficult time! I pray that my Lord and Savior will Bless you and your clinic!

Excellent care of my Siamese kitty who came down with UTI. I would bring my cat there again if necessary. The staff was very caring to me as well. All were polite and showed empathy for me. Definitely 5 stars in every way!

Worst customer services I have seen. Just keeps you waiting and tells you you are not the only one waiting. Will not come here again.

The staff and doctor are the BEST! You get great care for your pet, the cost is more than worry it.

Had an emergency that turned out to be less dramatic then we thought. Very short wait time and the needed treatment was explained and completed within an hour.
Their hours are perfect for those times when you need to have something examined but most vets are done for the day.

I recently moved to the area so when my dog broke her dew claw last night I was forced to find a new emergency vet. Based on the overall star rating and location I decided to bring her here. Of course I was nervous having read all the one star reviews.
When I brought her in I was greeted by a woman behind the reception window who immediately took me back to a room. I was surprised that there was no wait, I don’t think I’ve ever went back right away although the place did seem to be slow. Once in the room she took our basic information and told me that someone would be right with us.
The next woman to come in took my dogs vital signs and again told me someone else would be in soon. Yet another woman came into the room and this one discussed with me the condition of my dog and came back with an estimate. This is not the first time I’ve had a dog with a broken dew claw and this estimate was only about $ 30 more than what I paid at my regular vet. It cost me $ 250 this time and similar to last time the major expenses were the antibiotic/​painkiller injection ($ 50) and visit itself ($ 68) were the major ticket items.
Finally the doctor came in to speak with me. She was very very kind and just a pleasure to work with. She discussed her plan of action and was happy to answer all of my questions.
Next the lady who took my dogs vitals came back to take my dog to the room. My dog is a nervous pup to start with and a trip to the vet leaves her trembling like a leaf. In trying to take her back she was hiding under the chairs and refused to walk on her lead. The tech asked if I would pick her up so she could carry her back. She was so gentle and really seemed concerned for my dogs comfort and wellbeing.
I was asked to wait upfront and offered some coffee. It wasn’t long before my pup came out with a bandage on her injured leg. I was brought back to the front desk where I was told what the vet did and given instructions for care. I paid with care credit.
Overall, everyone I worked with was very amiable and really seemed to care about my dog. None of the employees were put off by the fact that my dog was a nervous wreck and they never asked to muzzle her. Of course my dogs situation was not nearly as grave as others who have visited this vet, but my visit was pleasant considering. It is strange how many people you interact with in one visit. Hopefully I won’t be back, but need be I would take my dogs here again.

I can’t really say anything about the service, but the staff is really friendly. Yvette (don’t know if she’s a yVETte) helped us print an emergency coupon for Oak Tree Lanes. Bowling right next door while you wait!

I had the misfortune of having my kitty pass at home away after a long illness. Of course she had to pass away late Saturday night. What in the world were we to do? Our veterinarian wasn’t open on a Sunday, which was the case with most places we looked up that night. We called a few businesses that handled cremations. They would come pick up my kitty (why would I want strangers coming to my house?), take care of the cremation, then return her remains to my house a week or two later. When I asked about dropping my kitty off, they both said they were small businesses that did not have a brick and mortar location. One place charged $ 220 and the other charged $ 240. Yikes! But their services included a clay print of kitty’s paw and her remains in a nice wood box.
Then I called East Valley Emergency Pet Clinic. We had been there years before for a different kitty who was sick. They are open 24 hours a day on the weekends. When I called, they were sweet in offering condolences and comforting me. They invited me to bring my kitty in and they would take care of the cremation services and I could pick her remains up in 7 — 10 days. I brought her by and they were incredibly sweet and patient, explaining the process again. I was able to sit in a private room with a medical table and a couch to say my goodbyes. They were very professional and compassionate, which was a surprise considering it was past midnight at that point. I paid my $ 80 cremation fee (cash requested) and left. 5 days later I received a phone call letting me know my kitty’s remains were ready for pick up. When I picked up my kitty to my surprise her ashes were in a beautiful wood box with her name engraved in a plate on top. I also received a beautiful clay print of her paw. There was also a beautiful certificate noting her special life and some additional comforting poems and notes.
Thank goodness I called East Valley instead of letting one of those other places take care of the cremation service. East Valley was $ 140 cheaper and I feel I received superb professional and compassionate service, As a side note, we were happy with their emergency services a few years back for the other kitty issue as well.

Last Late Friday night I called them because I was distraught that my boy Bubbas was having trouble breathing (he had hyperthyroidism and his glands were so large) I knew it was his time. I went there and they just waited for me to say my goodbyes. When I was ready, the vet tech I think or Doctor was very kind she talk to me until she gave Bubbas the euthanasia med and he left me. Thank you for being there at the late hours to help people like me. I had my boy for 16 years and I know he is in a better place not suffering. Again thank you for your kindness.

My dog had eaten some kind of foreign object and it blocked his intestines. I believe Dr. Anne had helped us. She was great and explained everything in detail, including all our options.
We have pet insurance, which I couldn’t recommend more so that people stop talking crap about vets and their prices. It costs money to have pets people! Pay it or don’t get a pet.
Dr. Anne called after the surgery to keep us updated, as well as the next day to keep me posted on my dogs recovery. The surgery went well, we paid when we came to pick him up. He recovered great, I couldn’t be more thankful for this place and their service.

My cat passed away and I was calling around different clinics to see the price to take in my cats body, out of all of the ones I called this one here was the only place that had a human being answer the phone.
Kim was the only receptionist that said «I’m so sorry to hear that, I’m sorry for your loss.» Because she said that to me and talked to me like a person with feelings, acknowledged my pain, and reassured me that everything is going to be fine I chose them over the other locations and one of those being the emergency clinic in upland. When I arrived at 2:30 in the morning she greeted me and made me as comfortable as possible. She then gave me sometime alone with my pet, she handled her body with care and respect, she let me vent for about 10 mins and I went on about how special me. She cried with me and hugged me many times.
I chose cremation, an individual one to be exact, and that was $ 80 comes with a box of her ashes and a clay mold of her paw print. The cremation is handled by another party named Gateway and I have heard great things about them also. They didn’t charge me a handling fee, like other locations do. I do not think that it’s about the money to them, they actually care about your pets and you too.
Thank you Kim for helping me with the toughest thing I’ve ever experienced, thank you for being so kind, understanding and respectful to me and my companion.

I recently brought my dog here, she was going into labor and I had no idea. When I brought her in they immediately assisted me. I had no money for this, and I was able to use my Care Credit for the cost. The young female doctor that assisted us was wonderful, great energy, beautiful and very caring. I am so happy I came here, they helped deliver 5 babies and they are so beautiful.
The staff is very friendly, the guy that works here is amazing. I was so overwhelmed about these babies but he carefully explained everything to me on point.
The staff here goes above and beyond and I highly recommend it.

I. LOVE. THIS. PLACE! Dr. Megan Le Fave is my fav and the very BEST vet I’ve had the pleasure of taking my baby to. I love her! She’s kind, VERY compassionate, caring, smart, and knows exactly how to make my 16 yr old Shih Tzu feel better. I’ve been here 5 times and drive 48 miles round trip to come here and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They’re prices are fair considering it’s an EMERGENCY PET CLINIC open all night and all weekend. It’s excellent, quality care. The facility is clean, the staff is nice and caring and the vets are excellent.

Absolute worst experience ever took my dog for emergency he had a arched back and was in immense pain he had ivdd total paralysis in his rear legs we were told we have to do surgery or put him down, the vet was really cold hearted about it and only gave us those two options, we took the medications only, and went to our regular vet the next day since it was late at night already, our vet suggested it was ivdd but very acute and our dog may be able to walk again, and explained everything unlike the vet here, waiting time took about half an hour and bout hour for diagnosis, they didn’t really seem to care for there patients at all, there was no one in the waiting room when we got there it seem to be only us. I wouldn’t suggest it I rather spend money elsewhere was too pricy.

They can do everything possible to save your dogs life. Quick, clean, smart, cautious, kind, realistic. It is ER Vet. It costs more than the GP Vet. They saved my dogs life. My sick dog would perk up when she herd the Dr. She liked the staff. They watched /​cleaned my dog closely for the entire weekend and got her through this sickness. Discharge included a wealth of info exceeding human ER visit discharge summary. The staff experiences very tough situations and some may be in the next room to you so realize your coffee and TV may be second priority.
If you have an emergency again you will most likely return. I am a repeat customer.

Brought my English Bulldog in one evening after he suddenly lost the ability to use his back legs. Dr. Lefevre saw us and was calm, patient and straight forward about our options. Her professionalism was so appreciated. At 10 pm we were sent over to a neurologist which she called in and had meet us at an orange county office as time was of the essence in my doggies treatment.
Want to give a big thanks to Dr. Lefevre and her staff. Jennifer (assistant/​receptionist) took great care of us and printed up extra directions to the orange county neurologist office. And God bless the young man who rolled our Bulldog out to the car and loaded all 70 pounds of him into the car for us.
Fortunately our bully is recovering wonderfully and walking again!

Came her on a Saturday afternoon because pit bull had had an itchy rash near hit thigh for about a week. I work during vet normal hours so we came here. It was very clean and quiet as were we initially the only ones there. The tech came in quickly to take some basic info. She was professional and nice. Dr. McDonald came in a assess the rash. The Dr. Was very comfortable and caring w/​my dog. He had to be held up on his hinds legs to have his belly examined. She didn’t even seem flustered when by dog licked the back of her head as she examined him! That’s professionalism! She didn’t order unnecessary tests but really thought out the situation and gave her diagnosis. We got clear instructions to care for our baby and monitor his progress.
It was a little over $ 100 for the exam, medication and a collar. Not too bad. Overall a great experience!

Came in here for sad reasons.
Our daughter’s dog got very sick very fast. We couldn’t wait for our normal vet to open the next morning. So we brought him here. When we arrived at the clinic there were other pet owners in the waiting room. We were seen by staff within 15 minutes. They did the onsite blood testing and had those results within 45 minutes. The news we got was grim but it was right on.
I’d recommend this place if you need vet services off hours. The staff is compassionate and knowledgeable.
I wish I got treated this good at the Urgent Care. It’s a dog’s life.
